If you can get it down right you’ll only eat 1 fireball, and doom loses ALOT of life. Idk i think its worth it, you get used to finding when and where to do attraction to shockwave, but yeah FF would probably be safer
I agree on that fireball trade Rich that it’s worth because even though doom might lost a bit of life that gives magneto the chance to open up morrigan free.
And my opinion on Joker’s response to Fanatiq is that I’d put money on Joker over Fanatiq any fuckin day. RDK just proved a lot of points in his statements about Fanatiqs hit confirms and combos that a lot of you guys have said here.

My money’s on RayRay winning and being the better Magneto and Sentinel. (Since both play the same character shell: Magnus/Insert Char Here/Sentinel)

What blockstun cancel tech?
Basically when you’re pressuring your opponent into a situation where using Attraction cancels into supers is ideal for when (imo) you want a safe DHC
For some reason, at anytime Mags is in blockstun, and this can be the very frame on which he’s been put into blockstun, he can immediately cancel his blockstun into his Attraction moves. The prime example being displayed by the Japanese guy who found it (can’t remember who, but he found it before release apparantly) allows him to say, block a :d:+:h: from Vergil, immediately blockstun cancel into Attraction xx Tempest DHC install super like Devil Trigger and punish from there. Or if you’ve got the meter you can do straight level 3 with Mags without having to XF cancel.

I just picked up magneto in search for a 3rd character but I cant seem to get down the rom loops or the grav loops in the corner. With rom they seem to recover before i can super jump H and grav loops they fall out before I can addf with h. Any help would be appreciated
For the ROM, do it faster. For the hyper grav loops, super jump cancel immediately after the hyper grav. The deceiving part about the hyper grav loop when you’r first learning it is that you can do it really, really slow.
The hyper grav loops had me for a little as well. The actual speed of it is very slow and lenient on timing, as long as you hit j.H right after air dash down forward to pop them up, the rest falls into place.
Does the ROM have any advantages over the blast loop by the way?
I’ve just been using blast loops by default because I really haven’t had time to practice this game enough this year.
mix of emp combos, hyper grav and mblast give you the best dmg
It does have a couple, the main one being that it is the easiest to hit confirm off of. If you catch people in the air it is really difficult to get a full MB loop (I’ve never done it). The other main advantage is that all the true solo corner carry combos I have seen use the ROM at some point in the combo. The MB loop carries you about 3/4 of the screen.
Still if you get a grounded hit confirm at midscreen, there is little to no reason not to use the MB loop.
That was freakin hilarious, especially when he called them philanthropists. It was too obvious he was letting Mike Ross win though. I’m guessing the whole point of that vid was to let people think he was bad, and bet on Joker/RayRay. He was also probably trying to get Joker and RayRay to get complacent, but they’re smarter than that.
Anyone who studies how Fanatiq plays could see how obvious it was, but the acting was pretty believable and people less familiar would think that really is his current level. Hell I think even though he was letting Ross win he was still getting a little salty because thats just how MvC3 is. However he messed it up when he revealed he was playing on a stick, and then that extra bit at the end just completely ruined it.
Ah yeah, air hitconfirms are a good point, I’ve basically just been doing fly combos off air confirms so far. Empire loop is also beyond me right now. When I get a break from uni I might actually end up practicing all these games I play lol.
