So sad too, Dante SEEMS so good and feels so good and swags for days if you bother to learn him, but in the end he just doesn’t have the defensive options to cover his slow ass normals without hammer. I mean he can derp it out a bit with EMD and Wesker unblockables but that just doesn’t feel as shiny as real assist extender combos

I think Dante/Wesk/Mags is the optimal ordering for that team.
Dante + those assists is gross, and XF2 wesker + disruptah is godlike.
Anchor Mags is anchor Mags.
It depends really ,with Mags/Dante/Wesker you have access to the tempest/million dollars dhc combined with the the wesker otg you can get pretty close to 1 mil,and its easy enough to get the meters for it, Then after that u have Dante in place of Mags anyways so u get Dante/EMD ,all while still having a godlike anchor in wesker on deck.
Another benefit of this lineup is u have better dhc options , u can fish for random shockwaves into million dollars, if the shockwave fails then just dhc into devil trigger, there’s more stuff too but that’s some of the gist of it.
I run the team Wesker-b/Dante-y/Magneto-a. The team can be run in any formation really and still get great results.
Say it in the tier thread and get bombarded with page-long reasons why he’s top 3 lol.
Very true ,one of the main reasons I love Mags/Dante so much.
I can never read the notations off the bottom of the training mode screen but i’ll try, and i was saying my movement is decent with nova but i never tried magneto
Thats the best order imo. Jam Session really irons out Wesker’s main weakness as a character, which is characters that love to fight in the air.
Which actually means= Jam Session > Psychocrusher and Trish

My only wish is for Ray Ray to do the EMP loop on fanatiq since he basically said its impractical. I just want hard headed fanatiq to eat his words lol.
Fanatiq is godlike, but 70% he says are hyperboles. MSS being the best vanilla team, if he touches you he’ll kill you (really doesn’t happen that often), Joker having horrible execution, etc.
What order do you run the team with Sentinel? My Amaterasu is ass and I’m lazy so I’m thinking of running Dante-a/Magneto-a/Sentinel-a.

I wont take all credit but I will say that I sent fanatiq a very convincing message through Facebook basically giving him an incentive to going to ECT4. Mentioned about the 3k pop bonus AND finding Ray Ray there.
The next morning, I woke up to his stream and he had ECT4 website up and the chatroom was going crazy about Ray Ray vs Fanatiq. Then just now on stream they were talking about it. Get Hype ITS GOING TO HAPPEN!

I run Mags/Dante/Sent, I feel more confident running Mags on point on this team since its easier to land a hit with Mags via tri jumps then it is to with dante via air dashes and/or backwards teleports plus as we all know anyways Mags+Drones =GDLK. Then when Mags does land a hit, 90% of the time its a dead character thanks to the DHC to Million dollars. Another reason is Dante has a harder time confirming off of drones, especially in the air, so I feel more comfortable off starting Mags because of this.
I run Dante with jam session, I dont use weasel shot since Sent has the horizontal angles covered. The scary thing about Mags W jam session is he can transition into a full combo depending if you have your air to air hit confirms down, another reason is it sets up a 50/50 for a character coming onscreen which again, u can go into a combo from. The only negative from this is that the combos get scaled pretty hard, but it’s hardly an issue if you maximize the hits on your combos (with some help from drones) you will build plenty of meter and may have a LV3 to burn away.
Another small reason I prefer Mag/Dante lineup is should Mags get a happy birthday, it usually means 2 dead characters from anywhere on the screen. What i do is go into easy mode flight combo (No blast combo since blast might whiff on one character) then go into shockwave dhc into mill dollars which will guaranteed a dead assist unless they have 1.1mil health or more, you might possibly kill the main character as well depending on their health, and even if u dont kill any of the characters, u can guarantee the kill on one or both by XFCing with Dante towards the end of mill dollars and go into teleport ,j.S, Volc-Beehive x2 and possibly another Mil dollars should u have the meter.
But anyways, that’s me my friend, If you feel more comfortable running Dante on point then do so, it does have its advantages as well, hell sometimes I do switch the order because I feel like running dante in first since he’s fun as hell to play as, also to Tele/Disruptor my opponents to death lol.
I’m not trying to change anyone’s mind with all of this nor implying Mags/Dante >Dante/Mags in case someone might get that idea lol, I’m just sharing some of my tech and giving my reasons why Mags/Dante is my preferred order.
Yeah Mags on point blows Dante away IMO I just haven’t played around with Jam Session assist for Mags enough to know how synergic they are. I’m just so used to playing cheap ass teleport+disruptor crossups haha. Thanks for the input dude! I just gotta work on making my Dante not ass now :|.
On RayRay vs Fanatiq; I gotta say I was much more impressed by RayRay’s play on Marlinpie’s stream yesterday than Fanatiq’s at the RunBack. Fanatiq still has that godlike superjump hit confirm though.
