Hey guys, I just picked up mags in umvc and I used to play him in vanilla… I noticed the fly combo’s/ ROM don’t work from full screen anymore, so what are my options combo wise?
If they’re gonna spend resources on this game, they should really give us Magneto players a fucking useable DLC.
The Rom still works, it’s just harder since you need to super jump Up-forward everytime, on a tighter timing (because he takes longer to get to the ground) all the while avoiding getting a TK disruptor.
As for the Fly loops, they still work and the easiest way to set em up is to do j.:h: xx adf > j.
xx Fly > j.:l::h: xx adf j.:h: > loop that shit.
Regular ROM still works in corner correct? and and you use that fly loop to bring him to the corner then unfly and on the way down from unfly hit an air H then s.H and go into a hypergrav loop? Also I’ve heard there are some pretty cool full screen loops with Magnetic Blast, how do I that those ones?

For all my Padneto’s using the dpad and struggling with his midscreen ROM, I found a way to get it pretty consistent. What I do is tap down and then remove my finger from the dpad completely. Then I quickly press up and forward at the same time. So my inputs end up looking something like this :d::f::uf:. Reason we’re getting TK Disruptors is because naturally we want to roll are fingers to press up-forward button, but in the process the inputs usually end up looking like this :qcf::uf::u:.
I won’t lie it feels awkward as hell doing it this way, but I haven’t gotten a TK Disruptor in a long time. Once I get the timing down I’ll be good to go

Onslaught would be nice but Capcom already stated that theres no plans for DLC as of now…meaning no DLC plans to replace the “removed” Magneto alt costume.
I’m assuming its because its not on disc and it would cost money to completely make a new alt costume then have it put up on psn/live then run the risk of people not buying. So to them its not worth it.
