My god this would be godlike.
This combo right here:

721K no meter. That’s all fine and dandy, but at the :02 mark, the guy goes for a rep from the EMP loop/Coward Loop (s.S > super jump> j.H > downdash > j.S > land > s.S).

Now, a couple of months back, I was dicking around with this loop, but I just could not find a way, an indication, a rhythm, a groove, I couldn’t do anything to replicate these loops consistently every time I went for it, besides pure trial and error to get it worked into my muscle memory. So I decided to ask one of the best Magneto’s I’ve seen, Fanatiq. I asked him if he has seen it before, and if it was a consistent to hit loop, he said he has tried to learn it, but he couldn’t hit it consistently, and that it was impractical or something like that, don’t quote me right there. So earlier today, I see someone posting that 721k combo, and I see at the :02 second mark, the guy goes for 1 rep of the EMP/Coward Loop. So I told the guy linking to it, “that initial loop of “s.S > j.H > downdash >j.S” is so inconsistent”.
He says “its called practice and repitition”. "lol wow youre dense
» someone who can do it 16x id say thats consistent
» in a row to record it…thats consistency"
I’m just saying that initial loop isn’t very consistent to hit, due to what ever reasons I feel it isn’t. Am I wrong for thinking that? Or do I just “lack execution” like the guy I was talking to said?
Hey man, I’ve been playing magneto since vanilla. I tried that loop in Vanilla, since it was ont eh frontpage of one of the threads here.
The Rogueyoshi EMP Loop was inconsistent. I could never get more than two reps. And i dropped it completely. 1 week ago, someone said it’s pretty easy here on this thread (icha Zuki?) and I thought he was either beastly or I’m ass.
So I went on training and… welll. it’s pretty easy. In fact, it’s so easy that I’m actually doing
cr.:l:m:m:h::s: > j:h: xx adf :h: xx :l: Mag blast [land] sj:h: xx add > j:s: [land] st.:s: > combo
it’s a matter of timing and getting it down. It’s not inconsistent. it just has a specific timing. In the beginning, anything other than fly loop was called inconsistent, I think we’re past that now.
I tried raikousen and it doesn’t work, because by the time the last hit of the lightning strikes, zero is already safe. Will try fireworks.
I also tried hailstorm, storm is blocking as soon as it ends. also tried deadpools hypers, but I lost my patience after getting shot so much.
My BnB for online is really close to that
blah>:s: j:h: adf :h: magnetic Blast cr.:h: :s: :h: adf :h: magblast (land dash) :s:+:a1: j.:h::s: l. Hypergrav x2
Lol, I totally thought it was jH add jS stHS, which I could never do. I just did it your way after a minute of training mode-ing and got 2 reps before getting a TAC.
Point: proven.
EDIT: They exposed our magneto parry shit on wake-up SRK.
yeah figured it was a matter of time since frieda did earlier this morning :<
edit- fuck it still dont matter, people rarely pay attention to new tech. hell kids still dont do the TAC XF TAC on phoenix.
It’s okay pros probably won’t pick it up for a while. Everyone’s still doing day 1 flight loops into jS anyways.
Well technically it was Freida’s shit that supposedly the Japanese already knew about for a long time. Then Skisonic posted it up on Facebook and I relayed it over to the tier thread.
oh well its more knowledge for the Mags Army!
Is there a certain timing for the Empire loop? I’m trying to learn it but I’ve been very inconsistent.
I do launch, SJ.H as fast as possible, dash down, delay the S a bit more than you’d think you should, then S very fast.
sorry can’t explain it better, don’t have recording equip either :<
Why is there no damage difference between 2 and 4 hyper grav loops into magnetic tempest? Damage scaling in this game is dumb…
Well, hypergrav loops were always mostly for meter ( IIRC, I didn’t really play Vanilla ), I dunno, just thankful that hypergrav loops still work so I have an easy way to combo into Tempest in the first place.
Haha, well it’s the only way I’ve found so far to optimise combos, it does more damage than 2x Blast loop into 2xHyper grav.
There’s probably something I’m missing, I’ve see the Empire loop but that one will take me a while to get down haha. Makes boulder loops look easy.
The most important part of the EMP loop isn’t the j.H, ADD, S. You should worry more about the characters height and timing S as soon as Mag’s feet hit the floor. Beginners should start with S, j.H, ADD, s/c.L, S. and for the midscreen version… again, it’s about timing a s.L as soon as Mag’s feet hit the floor.
Midscreen EMP - REMEMBER the s.L will always hit
s.L whiifs - you are inputting s.L too late or you didn’t do j.H, ADDF, S low enough to the ground.
s.L doesn’t come out - you are inputting s.L too fast.
Oh I actually meant the corner EMP loop, I figured I’d have to graduate out of the corner loop in order to begin learning the midscreen loop lol. At what height do you generally want to hit the jH and the add jS?
Btw I’m trying to replicate Joker’s Magnetic Blast loop which I think is launcher jH adf jH xxMagnetic Blast dash under st.S jH addf jH sj jH adf jH xxMagnetic Blast sj jH adf jH xxMagnetic Blast dash st.H xx Shockwave seen here on http://www.twitch.tv/eschamptv/b/313482351 at 2:31:20. I can’t seem to get the dash under to the other side part even with wave dashing so I was wondering if anyone else can replicate it and give me a tip. Thanks!
That was for both EMP loops.
Joker combo - Dashing under only requires two dashes. do a regular dash then cancel it at the end and do another.
Ohh, thanks dude I’ll try it out!
