Is there any benefit from doing the instant air dash jM jH stH Hyper Grav loop instead of the standard one? I’ve been seeing this one alot more often lately.
I dunno, I do both of them at random. Should probably check if there’s any meter building or dmg differences.
It’s easier to do and does slightly less damage than the regular loop.
I prefer the (J) 
version myself, I’m much more comfortable with that than I am with the (J):h: version.
Hey guys, I’m trying to learn Magneto but I need some help :x
for his combos, I don’t know how to do that combo where it looks like a stair cause (the one where he does addf.h, sj.j, addf.h, sj.j or looks like it 
) I’ve been trying but I can’t figure it out.
Whats a good BnB combo to learn for midscreen and corner? I can do his :L::H::S:, sj.:h:, addf.:h:, ~fly ~:L::H: but after that, I don’t know whats the best combo to go for after that :x
And whenever I try to move around with Magneto with air dashes or tri-jumps everywhere, I always seem to be much slower then other magneto players :o
and last thing: What does ROM stand for?
I keep accidentally dropping my mid-screen fly loops with the air-dash H, air-dash H, shits starting to piss me off.
ROM is the Japanese player who invented the ROM infinite in MVC2. Why we call it that in UMVC3? Because we’re retarded and the name just stuck. We really need to call that shit something else.
I made a slight improvement to the Staircase combo I posted earlier. It makes it easier to land the :h: ~ :l:Hyper Grav ~ Magnetic Tempest.

My reset montage is near half way done. So far I’ve gotten down most of the basic resets and some of the more tricky ones. It’s going to be a glorious moment when this movie is complete.

Well since I’m pretty much the spearhead around here when it concerns some Magnus tech, what exactly are you looking for Sabin? Corner tech, midscreen bs, drones/missiles/X-assist tech?

Just a BnB that doesn’t involve spamming H… It shouldn’t be that hard but I’m running a pretty standard C. L, C. L, C. M, C. H, S, sj. H adf j. M, j. H, fly, j. H adf j. H adf etc. etc. combo and I find when I go to fly I either miss the follow up or it doesn’t combo and I get blocked mid-air, it’s starting to really give me the shits as it’s a ton of effort and sure it takes them from one corner to the other but for 450k damage pre-hyper it’s not that impressive.
Have you considered doing
I’ve found out that I get the fly loop more consistently when I do jab short fierce :)l: :h:) after flight into the corner for a 900k damage reset.
Also, I plan on making a blog to go with the reset movie i have coming up in a bout a week. Just sorting through what’s good, what hasn’t/has been seen and which are most practical or utmost stylish.

So jump H, dash M, fly, L, M, H dash H, dash H etc.? I could give that a crack, my main issue is that when I activate fly they drop under me or when I go for my follow up attack it gets blocked/doesn’t combo, it’s really annoying, I just can’t seem to fly quick enough.

Ah yeah, I get it, that kick poke really helps chain it, the timing on the fly is still screwing me up a little, it just doesn’t seem to come up fast enough sometimes but I’ll probably get that with practice. I was able to pull off the other version, just inconsistently in actual games, a lot of the time I’d just resort to basic c. l, c.l, c. m, c. h, s, j. l, j. l, j. m, j. m, j. h adf magnetic distruptor xx tempest stuff because it was easier.

By the time Magnus is out I generally have crack factor up and am just looking for a chance to gravity squeeze but yeah, you’re right, I should practice some more resets. How do you generally follow up the Magnetic Shockwave in the BnB you posted above? 550k isn’t enough to kill.
