it doesn’t seem like i’m doing sjf. H. gotta grind it out. Can you do the j.H addf H twice and then cr.H, j.H addf H or do the fly combos? I haven’t experimented with mag combos much. Been playing half the cast. But i still don’t think its worth it. Even Air ROM is much easier to do and is purely swag.
sjuf :h: addf :h: x2, dash in :s: sjuf :h: addf :h; x2 works. I doubt fly combos would work after that unless you’re in the corner, then you can do :h: adf :h: fly, if you’re midscreen you need to use before fly, which doesn’t have as much hitstun. It’s possible to do :h: adf :h: fly midscreen but the spacing is difficult and character specific. You need to sjuf and hit them from the bottom and a bit behind them so they fly into your next :h:
What is the best way to start fly fierce loop in UMVC3. I can’t use my other way anymore since H pushes em back too far. So, if someone could post the fly fierce combo they use in this game that is best and safest that would be great.
Midscreen what do you think is safer to start mag blast loop. H addf H mag blast loop or one rep of ROM into mag blast loop?
What is the best way that mag can deal with a Zero that goes in the air and lands with his fucking pizza wheel shit? (Can mag just jab him out of it?)
ive been tinkering in training mode and i just noticed something that im not sure if it has been found or not (probly has) but i was snapout characters and as they were coming in i did fierce and i would cross up behind them i tested it out again an saw that it works consistently if you time your fierce before a new character comes out, ive only tested it just a few min. ago on shuma, spidey, and strider so idk i just thought it was something worth mentioning.
Forget force field, seriously, that move is just… useless. I dont think it busts Ghost rider bullshit because the post counter pillar doesn’t track or anything, it’s point-blank, and GH has no hurtbox on the chains.
I’ve done this before, but couldn’t replicate it at will, can you vid capture this?
well its kind of weird, once you catch them with it they are in hitstun behind you and once you land you can jump and then continue your combo, also i dont really have a camera but my labtop does so i guess i can try to upload it with that. To test it out i just snap back wait until there about to come in before you can see them then you fierce and they move behind you, i think its a crossup but i cant be for certain it just looks really odd, ill try to get a video uploaded.
He’s still great once you flush vanilla Mags out of your system. You just can’t rely on fly combo unfly into grav loop anymore for damage so you actually have to learn high damage midscreen BnBs and pretty much all of them are Magnetic Blast loops. He’s less of a TOD character and more of a reset character unless you’re able to get them into the corner and then you can do 800k with one meter and more with a DHC.
His airdash nerf is still noticeable but tolerable since he’s still fast as shit once you get the image of vanilla Mags fucking people in the face from the entire screen away out of your head. (actually you can still do it, it just looks like Magneto has Parkinsons during it)
I been having some trouble team building with mags, im really starting to enjoy using taskmaster how does his assist stack to sents drones for getting in and for cover?

i actually played with viper for a little while back in vanilla and got her box loops and seismos down, but i’m not sure how well she’d work with my magneto (Marlinpie is an exception because he’s got technical execution from GG, but he often chokes)
