I was trying to keep that kid on point after a bunch of flunkies from UnprotectedSex’ tribe made it their mission (actually Cody’s sneaky decree) to harry the kid’s efforts until he moved the venue to another night of the week. Which as I inferred, was problematic cuz Cody didn’t want competition to his “business”.

I dunno, lots of politics. But I don’t trust that UnprotectedSex guy, he’s the ranbat kingpin of SD, and power corrupts absolutely. Plus he’s flagrantly practicing unprotected sex! Unprotected sex should be a lapse of judgement that occurs in the heat of the moment. shouldn’t be anyone’s creedo,… that’s just needlessly reckless.

Is the good kid’s group meeting already? I think I saw that he succumbed to BossCody’s tyranical opression and moved the gathering to another night. Hey while I’m here, has there been any headway on the tech that allows Magneto out of block stun? I feel like I should be exploiting that more, but I don’t feel like experimenting while in a match. You guys nail down some sure fire situations I could try it in?

well, one thing you HAVE to remember is that there is absolutely no invincibility, so you can’t just throw it out there. one situation i have found is a blocked wesker launcher with no assist.

Even if I had good reason to believe that, WHICH I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT, I never thought I would pull such a bitch move by bringing that up in public. I doubt my dumb rant will be taken seriously by anyone, but man I sincerely apologize for being so reckless with another man’s business reputation.

For the record, I didn’t like the way some shit went down a while back between u and that kid. It got me heated and I went out of my way to encourage the “underdog”, or that was how I perceived it. hey guys, i need some advice/tips/tricks on running mag with dante jam session behind him. i know it’s not the best assist for him, but i wanna make it work. i know blocking jam session can cause the opponent to slide so that’s a good mixup, and i know i can lock the opponent in the corner for incoming with like a j.H into call jam session and followup from there, but i still feel kinda lost.

Stoked to see ChrisG using Magneto at Big Two last night. Crazy how much control he has already. But I wonder why he chooses those combos. I’m not even sure what he was doing in the corner, except it might have been hype the one time he didn’t drop it. Not sure.

But I hate his mid-screen BnB. I know he’s still learning Magneto, but Chris’s version of Fanatiq’s BnB looks janky as hell. I’m sure he can do Mag Blasts, so why use fanatiq’s? It’s doesn’t even feel reliable, since you have to adjust significantly for character weight. And he could even just do, L,M,H,S sjf. j.H, addf, j.H, land, jf. j.M, j.H, LMB, and then dash under and finish the combo in the same way as fanatiq’s. It’s more damage, easier in every way, and stylish.

I’m no expert, but isn’t that an equally simple and safer BnB for a new Magnus player to use?

Chris uses the old ghetto Hyper Grav from vanilla. I’m pretty sure he used it back then when he messed around with Magneto here and there as well. I never actually saw him finish a midscreen combo other than the standard air dash loop but I actually like the Fanatiq combo.
