Rewatching the X-men animated series, Magneto’s voice sounds amazing.
I feel like I need to spend a few hours in the lab just throwing Magnetic Blasts from each side. Never really played Magnus and that motion still isn’t natural for me

practice doing exactly this 100 each time you’re in training mode and it’ll become second nature afterwards
I also recommend putting the Dummy in the corners by using start + select + Direction. Put them in the corners and practice the motions for boxdash forward and backwards blasts, normal jump and super jump and addf/addb versions so you don’t have to worry about crossup blasts yet and practice the normal input. It’s also useful to put the dummy on jump to practice the jumping confirms ie jMH xx Lblast/jH xx adf xx L blast.

as hard as i’ve tried to do it in xf1 it just wasn’t possible (for me at least idk about you ray) but that version is possible in xf2 and 3

You can get a real cheap one that does the job look up Roxio Game Capture. Not the greatest but it works (its the one I use).

Semi new to magneto here, getting somewhat more comfortable with him, what would be his best flight patterns for situations like Super Jump throw, getting in, keeping away and anything else you guy would like to share. I can’t seem to be that mobile with him in the air yet.
as far as getting in, general flight patterns and keep away, please check the OP to make sure some of what you asked is covered. if not there’s other threads you can check for these subjects.
for combos off of super jump throws try check the BnB thread or the Video thread maybe.
I can’t even get mine to work properly. Shit either crashes, or when capping, causes the video to go faster then slower and all sorts of annoying.
I can tell you right now that the super jump throw fly pattern I find the most reliable is ADF-ADUF-ADDF j.S
It seems to work off of any situation.
If you want to combo off a superjump throw and you havent used up your airdash yet(which you shouldnt since you need the air dash for the confirm anyways). You can simply do Boxdash L blast, land and dash crH(Boxdash L blast works for all throws anywhere on the screen, and the only more optimal starters are stS and jS).
You must be doing something wrong…mine works perfectly fine. Only thing I dont like about it is that I cant record in HD with it (720P)
