To be consistent do what Raoh said but jump up forward call doom then air dash whiff j:s: web throw. It does the same amount of damage and connects with everyone as I’ve had the :h: web throw whiff before on smaller characters
That’s weird and quite complicated. Never needed to adjust anything with that combo aside from having to jump forward for smaller opponents and using :h: web throw, obviously because the opponent will be above you if you use a forward jump.
It’s not complicated at all. The air dash is just to get back to the ground faster where doom can still hit since Spideys jump is so floaty. Plus it gives you more time to get the web throw.
What I posted = forward jump + catch with :h: web throw, what you posted = forward jump then air dash whiff j:s: web throw. Same effect on all sizes but yours is more complicated albeit more damaging.
It’s not complicated at all. It’s the same thing as yours. I did the basic setup on a few people and the :h: web throw either whiffed there or the missile wouldn’t reach at the other side of the screen for some weird reason. I think it has to do with catching them the moment the first missile hits. With that said it just made more since to only do the jump to get missiles to come out at the right place then get back to the ground quicker for the web throw. Since doing that I haven’t had a problem with missiles not connecting at the distant end
You’re thinking too much. Haha. I never had a problem with just doing forward jump web throw so I thought your method was more complicated than mine since you had to add more inputs for the same effect.
I thought so too at first but I swear that shit has cost me matches where the “should be dead” character finds a way out then comes back to kill me. That’s that shit I don’t like.
What xero is saying isn’t that complicated or hard execution wise. It just gives you a little more time and adds a little bit of consistency which could matter in the long run. I’ve had some slight timing problems before, but I don’t really use that anyway.

Not necessarily. The results weren’t always the same. The results have been since I did my method but that’s because that’s how and what I practice now. All the concept is is putting Doom where he needs to be and getting back on the ground faster to connect the web throw. With Spidey’s floaty jump it was jump, wait to land, then do web throw the moment you land. Any later than that and the missiles for whatever reason would come up short (literally right before their foot).
im going to start running spiderman taskmaster vergil. when i play around online i use spiderman wesker vergil because i drop taskmaster combos online all the time. i would love hidden missiles but i hate playing doom.
plus the otg web resets are fun to do online because no on in the world seems to know how to get out of it.
I would suggest spidey Dante magneto so you can do the raw tag combos without messing up your order and have disruptor behind Dante. also, should you land a raw maximum spider on a character like Trish, you can dhc into devil trigger to get a full combo without having to waste xfactor.
