Come one come all, generally you are guaranteed to find loads of players at that time (very good ones too!). You can just introduce yourselves before/after you play.
Actually that’s a good time for Tekken 5, VF4evo and SF Alpha 3 too. And maybe GGXX if people still play that.

Yasser: Most people here are safe, you can always ask most people for advice down troc. I know you can at least ask me, Raju, dukus or bassventura if you need to know anything about 3s and you’ll get an honest reply. Although the people who specialise in certain characters are usually the ones who give the best answers for that character.

angel tube station is on the northern line, as soon as you come out the station, turn left and keep going till you’re at the lights. you should be able to see the arcade on your right on the opposite side of the road. it’s pretty small but does stand out a bit so you should be able to find it pretty easily despite my shitty directions

Although for 3s challenge, troc on friday nights is the place to be because thats where all the players go and the cab is japanese versus city with sanwa buttons and sticks. I went from 4.00 - 4.30 and realised i’m a retard when it comes to arcade controls (haven’t played in an arcade since troc last summer). i’m gonna get a arcade stick for my dreamcast and practise with that. will post later, must do statistics coursework atm

J Blaze: I was gonna do a tourney at my uni, but the prices to rent a lecture theatre are insane, so I have to take the long way round and start up a society to get a discount, I am working on it atm. So if anything happens at my uni, or any arcade or whatever I will let you know, but remember even if you come troc just on some weekday nights like maybe thursday and friday there is still plenty of challenge but obviously I understand that you would be coming from abroad so yeah best to come when there is a tourney.

Yasser: yeah I did not know whether you would check the message in time, but I went at 5pm anyway, and it was empty, I dunno about the strong button, that worked ok for me, but if you played on the 1p side you would have blatantly noticed how towards direction was not working unless you push it really hard! But its ok cause I informed the manager about it and he said he will fix it. I actually forgot to tell him to put the time up to 99 seconds, atm its only at 60 secs and also I am sure the damage setting is a little too high. Maybe you could pop in and let him know when your there next time or something.
Also my advice would be to get ps2 version (dc version sucks with input lag and stuff) its arcade perfect pretty much, and practise with any hori stick.
yeah but ps2 stuff costs shitloads whereas i can get dc games for free + official arcade stick for 15-20 off ebay but i’ll keep an eye out for ps2 goodies as well
where in london is troc, and what games do they have there. I’ve never been and u guys say there is some gd gamers there so it sounds like its where i wanna be.
Also except fridays, when is der normally strong competition, cos of work and stuff i find it hard to get down there most days. Is there many gamers there on sunday’s cos thats the easiest time for me to go to london
