Ignore BK the reason problem is the Staff refuse to let Hon run another tourny there again - and after the abs controversy who can blame em.
Which controversy? The only controversy I know about was in regards to some things at abs but none of them should be of concern to the funland staff. There have been how many RBs at troc? Why should it be a problem all of a sudden? 
Anyway I hope a new season starts soon.
I think that specific problem has more to do with the fact that the staff are prats and don’t want to change the machine settings, than to do with any controversy.
Well chef told me he was banned from doing tournys at troc anymore. So if theres more to it outside of the absolution incident then fair enough.

Nottingham namco has sf alpha 3, street fighter 3 3rd strike,Kof 2002 and Tekken 5.Theres ppl to challenge there every day inbetween 2 and 6 oclock…There is only one decent 3rd strike player tho the arcade only got hold of the machine last month.

My guess is that they are fed up of us continually asking for joysticks to be fixed (wow we are really taking liberties asking for stuff to be in working order _), but I dunno really…
Angel arcade seems like a good venue, if the sticks can be replaced. The 3s machine is good (50" japanese cabinet) but the place is pretty small unfortunately. The manager was already trying to organise a 3s tournament himself, so he should be friendlier than troc!

Anyway since this thread seems to be about general fighting games, I’ll mention that Ryan Hart organises regular ranking battles for Tekken 5 in Namco Station, Westminster. The next one is Sunday 6th Feb 2005 at 5PM. I would recommend you all to come if possible, even if it’s just to watch!

The Birmingham guys have a “Dojo Night” at Star City every other Monday from 7pm onwards for Tekken 5, where you chip in 7 and get freeplay/tournament for most of the night.
They are trying to get ps2 controller ports for the machine too (they haven’t got them yet, but hopefully in a couple of weeks…)
I think most of the top birmingham tekken players (look out especially for Veggy and Decschief) go there on Mondays.
