The TvC:UaS big sexy buttery Bread and Butter Combos thread

arg that SUCKS. And here I was looking forward to doing Karas wallbounce combos all day. Damn.

Thanks for your contributions everyone. I’m going to update the front page with these when I get the chance.

In those Zero combos, where you dash in after assist hit + 6C, you can alternatively use the command dash (qcb+A or B, cancel the last hit of 6C to get it to work) instead of just dashing in.

Hmmm can you guys cut the arcade lingo it’s extremely hard to follow you guys might as well be speaking spanish. Just say QCF or QCB or whatever is needed thanks.

They won’t, because the numpad system is the accepted system for most new 2D fighters not named Street Fighter, and it isn’t anything new.
I prefer qcf notation myself, but numpad isn’t hard to read or understand.

It would make things a lot simpler if they do. It is type confusing. Also it doesn’t make much sense for them to have this way also I think instead of type all these numbers telling the motions would be simply and more understandable by a large majority of people. I haven’t played arcade games that much or used an arcade stick before. The lingo is just way too confusing and hard to pick up. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only person that feels this way. Saying the motions would help a lot of new players also. Like who really wants to have to translate what their talking about just to learn combos. Simple universal terms that everyone can understand. This isn’t just an arcade game anymore ya dig?

I thought the Ippatsu resets were removed.

Some but not all. I don’t have the game yet, but I have seen them performed in videos. At some point in the stream someone used Ippatsuman and did a pretty simple combo into reset super for about 60-70%.

I’ll test out which ones still work tonight when I get my copy.

Ryu Combo’s that i’ve Confirmed.
Add baroque wherever you want

TK Tatsu or j. Attack > st. B > cr. B > st. C > cr. C > f.C >C Joudan >st. B >f. C > C Tatsu

optional enders
Morrigan/Saki assists (midscreen) / other assists corner only
Assist > st. B > f. C > C Tatsu > super

Probably be his mainstay other high damage ones using baroque
TK Tatsu or j. Attack > st. B >cr. B > st. C > f. C > Hadouken > Baroque > TK Tatsu > st. B > cr. B >st. C > cr. C >f. C >C Joudan>st. B >f. C > C Tatsu (optional enders same as above)

better get used it. it honestly won’t take that long to figure it out, just look at the number pad on the keyboard.

what i do in the corner is: 2 or 5a>2 or 5a>b>2b>c>2c>6c>414c,2a>2a>2b>3c>sj>a>a>b>hadouken,shinkuuu.

That builds a lot less meter and has less damage potential depending on team. Also i’m in love with C Tatsu since the last TvC.

That tip helps but it’s still takes a while to think about. Still should do it the other way it’s not going to go well for players trying to get in that don’t play arcade games like that.

After some playthroughs, Frank’s only BnB is a b c.

lol.

frank sucks he’s low tier maybe worst character in the game.

lolno

A mobile OTG is not a low tier stuff.

pfft. Frank blows.

Frank can do B > C > Sweep > cart > super : P

now you know when a character is low tier when 50 million fan boys scream about how rape he is =/.

Basic Zero combos

Basic ground combo (no meter assist less)
[5]A, [5]B, [2]B, [5]C, [2]C, [6]C, [623]C - EDIT: I was cancelling moves to early this does close to 10,000 if you make every hit connect.

Aerial rave (no meter assist less)
5]A, [5]B, [2]B, [5]C, [3]C, Jump, A, A, B, B, [236]B - Does a tad more damage than the ground combo. It’s better to end your rave with [236]Attack than [623] Attack because you get a knockdown and Zero lands right next to the opponent. EDIT: [236]C will not combo (big startup) so use [236]B instead which will.

LVL 3 Setup (assist less)
5]A, [5]B, [2]B, [5]C, [6]C, [623] 2Attack - EDIT: I was way off, its close to 20,000.

Zero is not a high damage character on his own he trades that for his very potent mix ups options. It also seems like he has low life too.

So basically zero is ken.

Frank isn’t low tier.

Shut up. =/
