Real quick, guys. I am trying to think of five characters to take into the lab to prep for a tournament this weekend but I don’t know who to study up on. Two characters that I have to review are Jack and Violet. Do you guys have any suggestions? Even though I’ve been to tournaments before for Tekken (I think my last one was Summer Jam? Can’t remember), this will be my first one for Tag and more specifically Tag 2. Any IRL cats that are really popular in the circuit these days?

Does anyone have the art panels for the dlc and console characters? I can find the original casts easily but i can not find characters like kunimitsu’s panels.
Has anyone seen this, Ak is 12 years old & he won a Philippines national. Honestly I’ve been in & watched a few tourneys but this doesn’t look like high level play, his opponent drops quite a few combos & falls for obvious moves. Probably just me expecting god worthy play.
It was a small tourney too, TO’s were more of Sf4 and Tag 2 was just a secondary tourn. AK has won a few in the past, but in terms of this tourney, afaik the real bigwig contenders weren’t there.
As with Marvel 2/Marvel 3 guys, some didn’t go because they weren’t told, or the small pot/lack of MM’s discouraged them from going.
His main team is definitely M. Law/Paul.

edit - I hate to link to EH but I suppose the comments there say it all. There are console players here, but the tops tend to gut it out at the (overpriced) arcades that remain. I think the “Alexandre” account is the kid himself.
Nice cant really say they are good players cause they seem to be throwing out moves that are very unsafe on block. Also I am pretty sure they will get better with more practice.
:eek: Was anybody watching KiT? Did ThatsHot go? Heard some whispers that he might have been headed there, but never saw if he ever actually went or not.
KiT was pretty fun; it was great to see so many characters. I think the last big Tekken event I watched was kind of limited in the character selection, so this was a refreshing view.
KiT vids were awesome. That tournament just ran great in general. They changed it from 2/3 to 3/5 and finished in like 6 hours with a 64 man bracket. Also, Anakin is just a beast. Guess the Darkside is always with him when he plays.
