Even though I mostly play on a stick (stick is down and waiting for Laugh to make more of those etokki Korean sticks) I prefer the ps3 pad actually over the ps2 pad.
I play on stick too but when I was playing on pad, ps2 pad for me was way better than the ps3 pad. My regrets now is cancelling my preorder of Omni Stick Rev 3. I had to pay the bills so I had to refund the money. Now I want one again 
by the way, for those who wants to get updated with high level tekken matches, subscribe to S8M9E2JX on youtube. I think he uploads matches weekly of Pro korean players like Knee, Qudans, Hao, CHANEL etc.
