Well it took them forever to upgrade it too. I’ve been around since 2001 as well. Anyone remember Akuma-chan I think it was? Having to use new ways to post
images and such on these forums is throwing me off a bit too from what I’m used to.
Yea Akuma-Chan was awesome. She still posts from time to time.
aside from the shortness of plant people lifespans and ITS PANTHRO! i’ve noticed an interesting thing:
in the pilot, the lizards were shown as being oppressed by the cats who are jerks and were rather sympathetic. but i figure that same thing cannot be said of their leader slithe (not a big surprise given he’s a main villain from the original series). he’s pretty much shown with the primary villain flaw that you know they’re super-hate-able: total disregard for the lives of henchmen. he was gonna let his own guys burn in the forest (and they’re COMPETENT henchmen too. you know how rare those are?)
You do realize that you can still manually time in the BBCode for the [ IMG] tags and not have to use the buttons on the toolbar, right?
Such a sad episode but a nice little moral in the end. Kinda blows about the lifespan. Little Emric literally grew on me.

Nice ep, though suddenly Tigra’s all gung-ho when he was getting on Lion-o’s case last ep.
They make an herbicidal ointment for that, you know. I was so shocked when Emeric 2.0 just showed up while Lion-O was looking for Emeric 1.0. I dropped my Kool-Aid, dammit. (sweetened with Truvia :tup:)
My problems with the forum have nothing to do with the [img[ tags.
For someone who supposedly doesn’t act like a leader, Lion-O gets better every episode at telling Tygra* to shut his Munkustrap-looking ass up and fall in.
*spelled with a “y”, folks. Tigra is a Marvel character. And a chick.
cause he’s technically still king. and tygra is the red headed step child who has to fall back.
Yea, waiting for the episode where Tigra says he’s tried of Lion-Os shit. You know it’s comin.
Awesome stuff so far…this ep really had me thinking. It was just odd how touching it was. I can’t wait to hear Panthro yell [Earl Hyman voice]“WHO’S DRIVING MY THUNDERTANK?!”[/Earl Hyman voice] at some point in the future.

Apparently, Tygra wants her, and she wants Lion-O…and some shit’s gonna happen that ALWAYS happens in that situation in cartoons and tv: they’re gonna fight over her, and she’s gonna get pissed at being treated like property.
Yeah. It was surprisingly touching. Very thought provoking. I never watched the original Thundercats, but I think I’m gonna see this one out to the end.
By the way, I only just realized that Will Freddie voices Lion-O. He use to be on Boy Meets World and he played Terry McGinnis in Batman Beyond.
