That rabbit kept causing me to think of Tom Petty. He’s not even close to related to any of this. What is wrong with me?
OMG, Dogs Of War sounds GDLK. I really need to look into the comics. I’ll see if I can find any.
Thanks for the advice Rock, I’ll do that!
Tonight’s episode was awesome. The drifter was cool. He felt straight out of a fairy tale. I didn’t think that the Duelist was that bad of a guy until he tried to shank Lion-O
ah yes, that’s it exactly…I’d agree that this “fairy tale” quality describes the charm of that character and the story. It’s like a timeless story a parent reads to a young child back in the day. I’d like to see the character again, but he would probably be out of place in any other episode, unfortunately.
the drifter was pretty amusing
i hope he shows up again
is the show on a break now because clone wars seems to have its spot now for a premiere next week?
Can’t wait for that. I missed out on a few episodes, so it’s perfect for me.
No wonder that village was all sword-happy: not a single woman in the whole damn place. It’s a common mistake animators still make. They did it all the time back in the 80’s, too. No women in places with lots of races/species, UNLESS the script called for the hero to interact with one.
Lack of Cheetara brings the episode down for me. That said, it was pretty decent for a filler ep.
Speaking of Cheetara, I’m betting that for quite a few guys, this is what comes to mind now when you listen to Cheetara.
Well shit, it is now.
Is it okay to link to sites that have links to the aired episodes so you can watch in your browser?
If they’re officially allowed to provide the links, yes. If not, you can send the PM’s my way.
hmmmm two thoughts pop into my head when i watch this episode
-
fatanzo=hanzo as in hanzo hattori the great swordsmith in kill bill.
-
fatanzo also made me think of usagi yojimbo
usagi yojimbo came to mind for me as well in the ep… that bloody Mon’star cameo now has me looking for more cameos now…
the show clearly takes(steals) from other stuff…its not really inspiration when its blaintant. their trying to make this shit the lord of the rings for kids. i get it…but man…be creative.
i have a dumb question, is there any sign of the 9th chapter? or is the 8th a season finale?
What did they steal? All they did was tie their own separate animated franchises from the 80’s together…and it MAKES SENSE.
Mon’star? Where?
derp
its not that its blaintant concepts. not the franchise stuff.
