I really didn’t think playing x Tekken was gonna fuck me over as bad as it did in AE. Comedy highlights from every one of my street fighter matches yesterday:
-Trying to raw tag Jin in and watching Mak flop on her ass mid screen from a whiffed focus
-Jumping around like a jackass
-Trying to launcher over lows and getting hit out of a taunt
-Dropping combos like I was allergic to them
-Trying to juggle off air to airs and fucking up a mixup chance.
And that’s not to take away from Eddie and Squab, they can fuck with anybody.
Man x Tekken is fun, but fuck it if I can’t keep my shit together for both in tournament. I’ll just start getting ready for Persona and GGO.

Yeah, and the funny part is that is what they said from the start was going to happen to "rebalance’ the game but the MK Community is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo hard-headed they can’t seem to understand that and wanted frame data that changes anyway. I love MK games but couple the fact that everyone here stopped playing it and there were so many patches that turned people off the game virtually has zero players competitively here that I know of now…I am sure we can get a few of us out of hiding but even so there is virtually 0 interest. Same goes with Tekken these days…I think a lot of people just don’t “know” about us. When I get these flyers from Doromac (HURRY UP THERE BUDDY) for MWC I am going to hand them out to every single GameStop in Middle Tennessee. We have got to get some new blood in this place so people know we are here because it doesn’t make sense that people don’t come to play on a regular basis…
Oh don’t forget the guys that only play online and STILL don’t come to tourneys regularly. There are too many people here locally I can call out but we all know who they are.

I dabbled in it and would play it but I don’t have any intention of getting better than mall scrub status
Dimos was good at it and basically became 2nd/3rd best behind Cody or behind Cody/Ian
Pat dabbled in it

There are more people that do play in the area…Remington, Ian (but retired it seems), Charlie (who knows wtf he is now), and there have to be some more hidden away somewhere…I know those guys had a few friends that played it…
Trying to get everyone to play Tekken will be tough…If only someone would get us a Tekken Tag Tournament 2 PCB to bring madness together. LOL
Get FilthyRich to bring it out to MWC and forget to take it with him.

It seems that i’m going to have to pick up Tekken again…(as well as one of my other characters that I really want to learn in that game…) whilst still learning AE and X Tekken…ontop of that I want to learn Kang and Marvel…but those are in the back of my head since their both very complex games that I do not have the time/patience for at the moment…dang. Just need more people besides Jason to play in Tekken in the Mid TN area mang!

@ Jason: My guy SWBeta from Washington told me that MK9 was done with patches and stuff now and that the game is in a “good” spot now to where it can grow on it’s own and remain competitive. Is this true? I don’t know any of the changes or tiers anymore besides Reptile is supposed to be really good now. Do you know if it has any new broken stuff or glitches? Because me and Bishop were talking about playing it again and it’d be nice to know about any stupidity before junping back on the boat lol.
P.S. This is the part where I persuade you to consider getting TTT2 Unlimited, but I can’t, in good faith, badger you to get any Tekken cab for that arcade. I have a heart. Sigh…
