Question for the Masses: How to beat a good Blanka as T. Hawk? I played against one today…and seemingly couldn’t get in unless I jumped in or did some special, but then he would just ball me to death. Also, at one point I was at low hp and all he kept doing was balling me. I couldn’t jump or he would up-ball me and I really couldn’t get in since his ball is safe against my character and everything I would try to throw out after I blocked his ball would either whiff or he had already recovered. Any insight would be appreciated.

To be honest man, you’re playing against the scourge of the grappler. Blanka murders Gief and Blanka for free. Best advice I could give you is don’t jump at him, Blanka’s are just waiting for it, and the big thing you’re going for are not command grabs against Blanka, you are looking for good pokes and footsies.
Back in the lab with Kang you gonna see some different characters from me. Some characters have got no love in memphis I’m gonna change that. Can’t have you fools lose because of lack of match up knowledge.

I think we had like 2 or 3 tournaments where the regulars played, than it became apparent that the game was meh. Dynamic frame data is a bad idea.

@ Maxninja: It got decent play for a second. MidTN was on it because of Jason, our usual group played it, and some of the Fight Night guys gave it a shot. I can say that me, Bishop, Marcus, and later Jose were playing it really seriously then it just dropped off the face of the earth here after that Skarlet bitch came out.

GGs to everybody at game galaxy tonight. Got pulled over after leaving eddie’s for my headlight being out. The cop was nice and just gave me a warning, and I made it home without anymore trouble.
I can’t make it to the tourney next saturday, but if I can make it to fight night, i’ll post in here.
