Yeah, T6 runs on modded PS3 hardware, just like all the past Tekken games. So it’s no surprise that the arcade T6 has an XMB. StridaJin had vids of it a week ago. I doubt they’ll drop home T6 that soon tho, considering the price of the arcade kits, and what happened to 5.0/5.1 once PS2 T5 dropped.
So what exactly happened?.. but my biggest thing is I’m not buying a ps3 for one game. T6 is cool but it aint that cool and since I live a station away from a decent game center I’m in no rush. But since my 360 got the red ring. The notion of making the purchase has been on my mind.
BTW The J-Tekken cards don’t work in to US machines right? I remember during sbo the korean players’ cards were f’ing up the cabinets. I was gonna buy some cards and give them to my homies in the A for XMAS. But if they don’t work…oh well.

No they don’t work. One of the players in Savannah gave me this nice Asuka festival card but I can’t use the damn thing. Bastards!
As for bounds. I don’t really mind them since the damage has been toned down to reflect DR damage, but it’s damn dumb that every one has a wall carry juggle because of it now. If distance between walls were increased by like half, bounds would have less importantce IMO.
I love the changes that the characters gotten though. They seem…complete now.
This new bound system is probably going to get me back into street fighter. I can check my text messages and stuff while I’m being juggled.
I remember, a post a few months back back at SDTekken by Duk I believe, however it’s been a long time, and most likely they probably did change it. However, to get to the point, I remember him saying something like Ewgf on block even looked unsafe, and could “potentially” be punishable.
Can anyone confirm if Ewgf is infact punishable on block, if there is a way, or is it just simply that they didn’t give Mishima’s the +5 frame advantage on block/stun and such and toned the knockback and + frames down, so that it just looks punishable but is still actually safe.
So yeah, just wondering, as that was something that was in my head for awhile. I’m also a skeptic on the Bound System, I’ve been watching videos of it, and I’m not entirely thrilled about it.
Well, it’d be nice to see the Mishimas somewhere below top tier for once.
