Yea, we should all probably just play Bloody Roar.
EDIT: I guess I should have read the rules before I posted that.
Lei
Did I miss the part where we mentioned Lei?
I’ve only seen one video of a competent Lei player:

It seems like d/f+1+2 causes bound, which makes sense. That should help out Lei, being one of the worst comboing characters since T4.
He’s got some different movements, but i don’t see that much has changed.
Lei has got to be the most underappreciated character in Tekken. The only time he got a major revamp was from t2-t3, but most people saw eddy or Jin and didn’t give a fuck. His learning curve and general turtling style of play turned people off to him, and when new players see him at the bottom of the tier list they just pass by him on the select character screen.
Does anyone remember Lei beasting at Evo? I think it was Seok who showed everyone what haha steps and turtling in an offensive game could do.
I’m just rambling, but all those people who picked up tekken after TTT should at least put Bryan and Steve on the shelf for a month or two and give Lei a chance.
Taito - looking forward to seeing you if you do make it out.
Cliff - The tourney yesterday was kinda upsetting with the low turnout of people. There were only about 10 people who entered. The Marduk player that used to play there at sega won it with Feng (not the kid with glasses, the yakuza wannabe guy). Devil Papa made an appearance and used some new DJ shit that I thought was pretty crazy. When are you gonna be coming back to Okinawa? The team is suffering without you syke!. About that team bullshit, David told me that if I requested to be added and the team leader you didn’t accept within a certain amount of time then the sub-leader is allowed to add me. I let them both know to look into it but I’m still repping the <<GS>> on my screenname. Anyhow, yeah man I’m waiting for you to get back cuz I finally tear my soul away from the 100 yen a play GGAC machine to come back to tekken familia and you’re not even here to welcome me back in open arms!!!:annoy:
man fuck all that. I just want to know when Kazuya rips anew one in someone’s ass in the storyline? Or do they even play the endings on the arcade?
No joke. Bob and Miguel look vicious. I’d honestly play Tekken competitively again just because of those two characters.
miguel looks so beast just with d/f+1,2 (?)
Jin and DJ’s characters are still flawed (wtf no white heron for jin)
I was the scrub at Club Sega with Feng… I’m not that good but ya’ll some no mercy sweep the leg motherfuckers… I just need a Rocky montage and I should be able to hold my own out there.
Lol, I was reading up on that so “called” early tier-listing, only to notice that at this point in time, Mishima’s look to dominate again besides my poor Jin who’s placed at Tier-C.
However, I wouldn’t be surprised considering they had some of the best 10-Framers in the game. I’m quite excited about this game, so I’m really looking forward to trying out Law now, simply because I like the way he’s moving/playing so far, but Jin’s the one I really hope to really break down. I hope they listened to a few of the beta players way back when they said Jin felt too weak and needed to get beefed up.
Btw, Atomic, Lei was most indeed a wrecking machine in T3, too bad, I was always a Mishima player, so I switched over to Jin easily. In DR he got better and at least in T6, judging from just videos, he looks to be solid, no longer his T4/5.0 garbage counterpart anymore.
I would of loved it if they had at least given Jin back his original LS, or even his left hook from T4. If not, I wouldn’t of mind him having Ewgf back, that single move alone would’ve improved his character for T6.
However, we’ll see how things go.
Very Good shit, saves me time to catch up.
So…what did Sergei get besides the ability to combo L :k: into his :df: + L :k:?
Why are some chars like Drag or King not on that early tier list? Hows drag looking in this game? Should I have faith? Why is his name spelled Dragnov now instead of Dragunov?
Get used to it, niggas are gonna be doing that till the end of time. Turnouts are ALWAYS random. I’ll be back on the 28th, so I’m pretty sure that David’s gonna have to do it. And don’t worry, I’ll jump you back in the gang when I get back. lol
Heh, I’ll apologize for them, we’ve gotten to the point where we’ll rape any and everyone that gets on the game now, niggas ain’t willin to put up that next 100 yen. =p
Just another reason I’m getting a PS3 for X-mas.
I guess I missed you Taito cuz I didn’t see any random Feng-playing gaijin when I was up there this weekend. I did go there somewhat earlier than normal on sunday though. And about the no mercy thing, sorry to say but even when it comes to gaijin a man must always hold the fort down, put the skills on display, and represent! insert flaming background
Cliff - good to know that you’ll be back somewhat soon. I might have already gone through a couple of cards by the time you make it back tho. But u need to hurry cuz i don’t have anyone else to bum monies off of!
Do they have this in CHQ yet?
I want more.
Co-sign that! I went to a gamecenter in Iidabashi today and I played a couple of rounds before my meeting. But while I was playing the machine geeked out and froze up. I called the club sega elf and he came over and reset the cabinet, wipe down the controller, replace the ash tray and re-adjust the little seat for me. (All that shit really happened!) But while it was booting up, I saw with little firmware system that the PSP and PS3 run on. I’m not technically in the know about the Noir cabinet and what goes on inside them, but It kinda seems that Tekken 6 could drop on the PS3 console very soon in early-mid 2008. I hope early though.
Heh, I’m surprised he didn’t give you a little neck massage and offer you complimentary mints!
Seriously though, it was so refreshing to see the arcade workers take pride in their work and go out of their way to help a customer.
I don’t like the bound system. No sir, not at all.
