going to bump this because charlie just explained the details of safe jumping and i’m not sure if everyone understands the concept (not trying to start shit). also i want to add that charlie mentioned that there is no DIRECT safe jump on 3f dp’s, but there are viable setups indirectly but in almost all cases they can be beaten by a very late/crosscut DP.
Serenity isn’t an arcade, it’s a comic/hobby store, but it’s owned by our own djdelly, and they hold casuals there on tuesdays and sundays

edit: I should also add, he does have an arcade cab in the store, with a good handful of old games for it, from cvs2 to st I think (or hyper fighting? I forget) and some snk games etc, he can correct me or add whatever he has, but yeah it’s cool.
Casuals have been pretty good as of late… 8-12 people on average have been showing up the last 2 weeks.
Today i’ll be getting to the shop around 2 with my ps3 set up and KOF, store 360 we’ll hook up to the HD CRT for AE 2012 and or UMVC3 assuming someone brings it, we’ll have the PS2 set up on the 15" LCD for 3S and CVS2 we’ll stream SoCal Regionals on the Store TV and leave the EVO monitor open for another set up… as always feel free to bring set ups and show up when ever.
Ill be at sg today. What time do you guys plan on showing up?
I’m gunna try and show up, it’s my first time heading out there so I’m likely to get lost. Should be there around 3 or a little later. I live in Tampa so it’s gunna be a 40 minute drive.
Also I’ll bring UMvC3 if no one else will.

Shoutouts to the folks down at Serenity today, had a good time. Felt good to finally get away from the massive amount od school work I got going on. Also, I apologize for my ass performance in Marvel, I kid you not when I say I haven’t even played an actual human since June lol.
I really liked it down there so I’ll try to come by when I can on Sundays if I have the time. Hopefully I’ll get to know some of you better as well. GG’s and have a great Christmas.

Yeah, tons of fun at serenity today. Special thanks to Brandon if he reads this for the matches, blanka is one matchup I’ve never really been comfortable in, and never had anyone competent at the character to really practice with, so I appreciated that, I learned a good bit about how to play that.
Good hanging out with you guys and playing/stream monstering. Wish I could have gotten matches with the guys I didn’t get to play today, but alas, time is short and there’s always more fighting to do.

Had fun playing kof with you last night, your defense was excellent. One thing though I meant to tell you last night but between the stream and our matches I got distracted lol. Terry has an awesome ground chain of cr. a > cr. c which you can cancel into light burn knuckle. After the burn knuckle you can drive cancel into a lk crack shoot then link a rising taco on the end. If you have meter you can link a busta wolf on to the end instead. So the combo would look like this
cr. B, cr. A > cr. C > qcb A (DC) qcb B, d~u C or (qcfx2 B or D) or d~u AC
