I have a question for someone with a decent understand of the game. Will someone tell me why certain players can be safe jumped, but not option selected? Yun, Yang, Dee Jay, and Adon all can be safe jumped, but when you try to option select with Ryu’s dp, they get stuffed. Now the explanation may be that Dee Jay’s upkicks and Yun, Yang, and Adon have DPs that have more invincibility than Ryu’s dp. That makes sense. So then I OS with Ryu’s U2. While some of these moves may hop over the animation, there’s no doubt that their invincibility wouldn’t be greater than that of Metsu Shoryu. Someone explain if they are able to, please?! Use EX dp, the only move u wouldn’t beat is Seth ex dp lol. And I think Ryu U2 might not work. Invincibility is not that long, kinda like Guile U1 would lose to EX jesus kick.
Maybe you should try to actually make a good read and not to mash some brain-dead reversal move while someone os-ing you.

No they all beat EX dp as well. It has something to do with the game’s mechanics, unless I’m just barely mistiming it every time I record. When I do U2, it just doesn’t come out. The reversal stops it before it even starts, and I SERIOUSLY doubt I’m missing it. When I do any dp, including EX, the reversal wins. I see the EX meter disappear and everything. And I know these moves are all 4 frames and slower. Head scratcher
