Aight saw the premiere:
Wasn’t feelin the sunglasses morphers too much;don’t know why they couldn’t stick with their sentai counterparts morphers
The big reveal at the end was blatantly obvious
Loved the fight scenes and there weapons; a big plus for this was because there wasn’t any overuse of random explosions like previous seasons
That RJ character was awesome
The opening theme seemed like a mix of the OG power rangers rock music with some of the new style music
Bah, had to go back and fourth between this and Terminator.
First and most importantly - The theme is ASS! They have just stopped trying now.
Secondly - apparently anyone can hack and get a morpher now. Wonderful.
Girl (s) - Meh.
All in all, I’ll be watching Terminator. I officially give up on PR. Should have died after SPD.

I’ll have to depend on the internet, then. ABC kids is just so far behind it’s pitiful…yesterday’s episode was when Mack found out he’s not actually a regular human. I’m not sure why they decided to roll back several episodes to repeat basically half the damn season…it’s like they wanted the ABCKids broadcast to be even further behind than normal. What kind of moron runs the saturday morning schedule over there? I think Jetix/TD should be up to episode 3 or 4 by now of the new season…and ABCKids isn’t even close to Overdrive’s finale. It doesn’t make any sense at all…you’d figure they would want to stay current since the Jungle Fury toys have been out for QUITE awhile now…it’s probably already getting tough to even find Overdrive toys in stores.
…which is a frustrating thing with PR. If you want a particular action figure or whatever, you have to get it while the season is in progress of course, otherwise it disappears forever, leaving eBay as your only hope of obtaining it later on. I should’ve bought a Zeltrex when I had the chance(Zeltrax or Zeltrex?I think that was “Smitty”'s name…heh, what a silly name; “Smitty”…like an old character back in the days of cartoon slike “Bosko” and “Buddy”)
Anway, I just watched the intro…it’s not as terrible as Overdrive’s theme…then again, what is? Maybe that’s the thing…the Overdrive intro theme was such an abomination…anything sounds good after that. “Miratrix” is looking better and better each time I see her…she needs my Bone?. “Rose” would get served up first though…that’s my #1 honey there.

Anyways theres been rumors going around that Power Ranger MIGHT go animated after this current season.
Ok, Jungle Fury is FINALLY on regular abc. This is making a very good 1st impression with me. The old sensei character owned that “definitely a villain later on” guy with ONE HAND while he held the box in his other arm. The fight starts off with Old Man parrying the guy’s attack with that one arm with his back still turned. I like the set up and premise already a lot more than Overdrive. The intro theme kills Overdrive’s horrible theme as well. This is already quite an improvement, just on the 1st impression from episode 1.
heh, depending on regular abc like this, I must be at least 5 or 6 episodes behind already.
TnA so far: Lily is extremely cute…but she’s no Rose. Rose from Overdrive was serious business. The evil lady…Kamia? HOTNESS. Character design on the bad guys is superior so far.
ok…Im really not liking go-onger. seriously…it feels a little too aimed for the younger set. the acting feels fake. I dont care for the characters. adorable talking cars “DORU DORU DORU!” piss me off. bleh…

It’s Sentai; of course it’s aimed at a young audience. I enjoy it for what it is: a fun, if childish, series.
They need to fix the mecha, though.
I know that, but there just isnt anything that draws me in. it feels too childish to me. I loved dekaranger, magiranger, boukenger and I kinda liked gekiranger but I just dont see anything appealing with go-onger. it feels empty I suppose.
Ill continue to watch and hopefully it will pick up steam.

If you’re a big fan of sentai teamups like i am then you owe it to yourself to see Gekiranger vs. Boukenger(Jungle Fury vs. Overdrive) movie. Its pretty damn good. Lots of fighting as always.

Out of those I thought Gekiranger was the best, with Dekaranger close behind.
Though I’m liking how Go-Onger feels too childish. The acting is much more easygoing, the weapons look more obviously like toys than usual, heck, even one of the main villains (the Ojaru girl) has a lot of comic relief moments. With this is mind, I personally think it’s been a good season so far, and it’ll probably get better as time goes on, though it will probably never reach the stature of shows like Geki.

You know what would be an interesting twist? If they gave each ranger an actual fighting style, like Hapkido, Grappling/Submission, Escrima, Muay Thai, SOMETHING. Now, I haven’t been up with Rangers since the Zeo days, but from what I can tell, it’s always been a ‘block high/low, spin kick/sweep’-type of formula. When that fails, whip out the weapons. When THAT fails, zord it up~!

So apparently Germany has the first four seasons of Powers Rangers up to Zeo on DVD. Good thing about this is that it has the English audio. Been debating on getting it plus it makes me wonder why Disney STILL hasn’t done this yet.
