There’s probably ideas left that hasn’t been touched on.
I mean they’ve done the rescue theme, law enforcement theme, ninja theme, animal theme, magic/Harry Potterish theme, treasure hunter theme.

They need to do an insect/arachnid theme. The Beetle Borgs was a different series, and old as hell…so I’m thinking it doesn’t really count. Outside of the Crimson Thunder duo from Ninja Storm(ohhhh I miss that era), there hasn’t been a full theme of insect/arachnid stuff…at least not specifically in PR.
Abaranger had one of the best intro themes…I loved it so much: [media=youtube]PcW8Yb1TrZ4[/media] I actually listen to that on a fairly regular basis…it’s so upbeat and perfect for this type of show. I still haven’t watched all the episodes though.
*and oh yes…Yellow Abaranger could SO get BONED.
Beetleborgs the series seemed a little too cheesy.
I mean watching VR Troopers and Power Rangers those two shows had some drama that kept you glued to the t.v. waiting to see what happens on the next episode.
Beetleborgs never did it for me. I enjoyed the action sequence but outside of that the show kind of fell flat. Masked Rider felt the same way but i’m not gonna go into that abomination of a show.
Fuck VR Troopers.
Sorry, a talking weener dog wearing stunnah shades who’s named is Jeb is not cool in my book.
Barring the talking dog, the show was still pretty damn good.

For the people who watch Kamen Rider, what are your thoughts of kamen rider kiva
it’s allright so far. Sort of weird and cool with the vampires but I can see an interesting vibe coming from it.
I’m also curious about the ratings situation…apparently it would get more ratings on ToonDisney? It would have to for that move to have made any sense. Whatever the case, I haven’t even watched ABCFam for more than 2 seconds ever since Jetix went away. The only thing on there worth a shit is Wildfire, and that’s just because I think the girls on there are highly fuckable…yet even that is still not enough to get me to watch ABCFam, since good TnA can be found anywhere on tv, meaning Wildfire is nothing special. I’m also bitter since this means I never got to see more than a couple of episodes of Oban Star Racers.
I’ll check the premiere online as well somehow…since it will probably be another 400 years before regular ABC even gets close to the Overdrive finale.
Initial Thoughts:
Theme song is horrible. There were a 1000 ways they could’ve done it. But they picked the wrong one.
For the screen time that Master Mao got. Dude’s a beast. Layed that Smakethdown on old boy. And did it with no sweat.
RJ was a complete surprise. It’s no secret he’s the next ranger to get the comeup.
Jungle Fury got some fine tail running around around.
But overall as a complete show, I’ll hold back judgement till I see some more episodes.
Well i gotta catch the 1230 showing tonight. The tv guide had jungle fury coming on at 8 and yet i turned to toon disney and Superman was on. Pretty bummed out.
After 16 seasons of power rangers, we still haven’t had no US release of the very first season of power rangers.
Hell Germany currently has the first three seasons on DVD already. I’m half tempted to just buy them since they have the option of English audio.
