Lw unlocking stuff is a breeze, follow the reddit link for a guide. You should have everything in about 2 hrs. I can believe i havent played the game since last sunday. Fuck work maaan
I know about the unlock method, but with the quick responses so far I figured that maybe I could get an answer before then. Plan in advance and all that.
To unlock everything, spend five minutes playing in the creation mode. A notification will pop up saying you’ve unlocked the next pack and it’ll be available the next day. Start spamming everything. I just dragged blocks across the screen and put a shit ton of enemies and objects in. Make sure to use everything too, especially the new stuff you’ve just unlocked. You’ll soon get a notification that the new tools are available. Rinse and repeat.
I won’t lie to you, it was not fun. The random positions the fireballs would spawn from got me killed more than anything else in your level. They would spawn right in my way a lot of the time, and because the jumps are precise, I have nowhere to go to dodge them.
You should probably have a door at the end of the section to Bowser, farther off into the level so he can’t affect the actual course.
Well, at the very least I cleared all of @“chadouken!” 's courses.
Mushroom Kingdom Basics: 10 tries
Over/Under: 25 tries
World 1-1 Shenanigans: 9 tries
Cheep Cheep Bridge: 65 tries. (Granted the first 15 were because I forgot NSMBU had that float in mid-air gimmick, but that doesn’t excuse the other 50.)
Well, I’ve re-affirmed that I’m just as terrible at Mario as I am at Smash. At least I wasn’t disappointed.
@“The Martian” - “Bowser’s Sky Pursuit” was, uh… I dunno what was going on in that one? Is it finished?
Okay, so, once you’re past the Hammer Bro and the descent past the cannons, you have two routes. One is a hidden block that takes you up via a vine to a moving platform, where you pretty much have to be on the vine instantly and jump straight onto the platform to make it, that leads to a pipe that takes you to a hidden room with a Yoshi and a propeller cap (where if you grab the propeller cap, you have to annoyingly crouchslide your way back to the pipe).
Once back up, it feels natural to continue along the top. Except then you’re left with walking along the ceiling, and there’s nothing up there. Just a slow, long autoscroll to the end while occasionally some stuff seems to be going on down below. I saw Bowser’s head, and some bombs.
If you don’t find this vine or make it onto the moving platform above, you’re left taking the downward path as small Mario. You see two sets of ice block platforms, a couple of skelekoopas and some randomly shot fireballs from the coptered Bowser ahead, but there’s nothing else there that I could find. I tried jumping around to find hidden blocks, I tried getting the propeller cap and propellering up and ahead… Nothing.
