I don’t think they’re the last, but we’re getting quite a bit of newcomers in Seasons 2 and 3 and it might be time for a story chapter to focus on them. For example, Ed is a story-oriented character, we got him last year and it would make sense for him to appear in a cinematic story now with Falke or wait not much longer for that; otherwise Capcom shouldn’t have made them in the first place if they’re not going to anything with them.
Also I expect a color edit mode down the line. It’s the only explanation I have to why the characer textures are so much aliased; because they would be made with very simple color maps meant to be edited.
I think that we’ll probably get that colour edit towards the end of its lifespan but the story mode will come a while after story mode.
The way I see it, I have a feeling that S3 will go down like this:
Cody in May
G in June
Sagat in July
Since EVO is in August, they might use the hype they built up from the end of season 3 to announce a new big thing like a second story. It’s unlikely but is slightly possible.
No but i think the main chunk of Newcomers is done with S2, specially Story wise
I can see them add more but in a way useful to developmemt of what we already got (example NeoShadaloo) or to link with SF3 timeline

While Tom is likely I just hope they don’t pull a UDON with his story in SFV, I do think that he’d be similar to Guile in a few moves.

@daemos, in the SF2movie game release in saturn and ps had different endings, it confirms that Vega died because he didn’t appeared in the end with the rest of the Shadaloo in those several endings.
