Nice theory but will not work well in reality
People canāt even handle having designs from different artist, half internet believed fucking kiki of all people was the standard and had the decision on characters looks
2 wiki and people will stick with whatever they pick first or with whatever they like most, regardless true or false
Ideal scenario will simply be a single source where shit get called out and eventually erased if canāt be backed by source
I would love for Rouge from Power Stone to become canon to SF. She could easily be another Soul Power user and the Ken to Menat.

I donā get even why we are automatically assuming heās a Grood.
He can be a Grood with human level mind
He can be a brainless weapon robot gorilla with laser and shit
Can be even the little girl that have huge psychic powers (think DS Anita) control all 300kg of him with psycho power like a puppeteer, so on reality she will be the real enemy lol

Reality is i essentially like ALL SFV newcomers, so if they feel to give a slot to the gorilla i want see why and how, before shit on it
After all i find easier accept an huge silverback as a potential powerful fighter than other stuff already in, and tbh will not be that much out of SF style
A thing to remember is also Necalli at first phases of concept was going to be a gorilla like yeti, so maybe itās a while theyāre toying with moveset ideas for a char like that
After all in same group there was a āfighting Presidentā concept, wich evolved into G
My ONLY real doubt is that cas already have savage chars like Blanka/Necalli and mountains of muscles like Gief and Abigail, so iām curious to see if they can give Gorilla a reason to esist
PS: i just remember also that barrel throwing norse sailor motherfucker was going to make it into SFV cast, gorilla may become vintage Donkey Kong LOL
I meanā¦ thereās still a plot guideā¦still way more reliable than the Wiki will ever be and will give you out right facts instead of conjecture.

I will be ok with Maggio as long they donāt make him a pussy, but the profile already cursed him as a yoyo playing skinny kid, so at best he could be a male counterpart of Menat
But i may be negatively biased by having just kikiās design, and kiki design can pussify Godzilla too
Maybe a Bengus take on him could sell me it as a cool JoJo/Yattaman/thief succesfull idea

Closest thing youāll get to that is a wiki in Japanese dedicated to SF. They are more or less conjecture free or at least to the point to where if they do present conjecture its stated as such and provide viable references from the source books and Japanese sites to the info they present.
Take this Japanese Kage page for example. Concise direct and to the point no BS involved.

Itās the āmetsuā kanji thatās associated with Evil Ryu & Kage across the SF games. Would have been too obvious if they had done it before the reveal, I suppose.
So it does mean that Kage is just a term to describe Ryuās silhouette not a name of his?

Thatā why i donāt like ākageā, seem just a specific personal name for non-japanese and lose itās original purpose
Kinda like most think āAkumaā is a name, when the actual name itās Gouki, and akuma mean just ādevilā in japanese
But on Akuma at least it works as we donāt associate it with something pre-existing (Ryu/Evil Ryu)

They wanted Evil Ryu in, but they knew it would feel cheap looking, especially when heās a paid characted, so they bloated his design and gave him a poetic name.
Thatās all. You people are overthinking it way too much.
They should have tried phantom instead lol
