i’m relooking back into this game seeing someone has picked up the actual arcade board recently in the area.
I’ve always mained Tessa with Hsien-Ko and Dan on the side.
Awesome to hear, this game needs more players. Hit me up on GGPO for some matches. I main Tessa and recently Hsien Ko as well. I honestly wonder if there’s actually at least a small competition / casual scene for Gem Fighters in Japan.
I’ve always loved this game. If I’m not playing it on console, then I’m playing it(everyday) on my laptop/psp(along with Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure console/laptop…psp I wish XD). This should be the next Capcom game on PSN/XBLA!!!

gotta say this thread is giving me a HUGE dose of nostalgia. I rather liked the cutesy graphics but none of my friends wanted to play lol. I might try to get this for ggpo and play some of you guys, but I’m not hardcore/good by any stretch
Just played this for the first time tonight … this game is brilliant. What is a good source learning the game outside this thread? Are there any detailed write-ups regarding the combo system etc?
