The Suits Thread

We start off the new season…with Harvey needing a therapist because Donna works for Louis now.

EDIT: Fuck…even therapists in the Suits world are hot and way too damn smart.

EDIT2: And I have the sinking feeling that Harvey’s gonna get in her pants.

Let’s see if Amy Acker actually gets some interest in the damn season.

Easy there buddy. It’ll take some time. First he’ll get in her head. Then down her blouse. THEN in her pants.

It’s a miracle…Suits decided NOT to drag a case out for an entire season.

Well…we all figured this fight would happen sooner or later…just not for THIS reason.

I would like to blame this on donna somehow, but it was mostly his therapist pissing him off about being just like his mom, that lead to him not letting luis sister down easy. At the end of the day, its still the fault of louis for being a fucking weirdo as usual.

I feel like mike turning down junior partner shouldve been close to the end of this season. I felt like we were actually getting out of this fake harvard shit, and 7 episodes in, and we’re back fucking at it again. I wonder if rachel is gonna be asked to be junior partner out of left field, as the best excuse to keep mike down. Shes been there longer than him, would be one of the first exceptions to the rule as a non harvard graduate, and shes qualified in most ways.

I dont know, i really enjoyed this episode, but we got daniel again, and mikes harvard shit, and louis being irrational as all hell over some basic bitch level shit.

I feel for harvey this season. Not because of the shrink shit, but while he can be a dick, hes always forgiven people, and constantly looked out for people. Its 5 seasons in, so maybe my memory is bad, but i dont remember him ever biting without being provoked. The worst, and most irrational/selfish decision he made was hiring mike. I feel like the people around harvey do a lot more fucked up shit than he does, but maybe theyre doing it for his approval. Which is kinda their problem, but i guess if you intimidate people so much, that it kinda becomes your problem too.

Up until this episode, i thought we had a nice fresh start, short of daniel coming back. I feel we’re about to dive deep into some old drama again, and the fun for the rest of the season is gone.

They need a new associate too. The fun with mike is over. Hes an adult pretend lawyer with an attitude, and about to get married, while the guy he use to have witty banter with is having panic attacks.

Suits is one of my favorite shows for many reasons, but god, give the angry and sad shit a break. Just give me a few episodes more of bar hopping, and saving pro athletes from lawsuits. Dont take away my smiles so early with the intense drama.

Mike’s Harvard shit had to come up again because Claire, the chick from the flashback earlier this season is coming back next episode.

is it legal to have someone who not only isn’t a lawyer but hasn’t even graduated from law school yet represent a client without anyone else present like Rachel did? I don’t see how it could be.

that glaring hole aside, they turned louis back into the person you love to hate while Jack soloff is someone you want to root for now. wonder what Hardman has over him.

Apparently Claire is mike’s fiance in real life.

Does Mike ever do anything legal?

Mike and rachel gon call it quits by the end of this season. Im drooling to know what daniel has over that partner dude. Harveys greatest enemy has once again shown his face. God damn he hates harvey. lol. I was like, eh, their repeating old shit again, but this has turned out to be pretty exciting.

It is what it is, but mike and rachels relationship was always pretty fucking stupid. Youre a fraud lawyer who is dating a girl who is actually going to be a legit lawyer, whos father is a legit lawyer, and a bad motherfucker at that, who also comes from a high class, snobby background. Stop it, you were never going to pull that off. I mean, look, i understand their relationship from a humanistic point of view. It makes sense, but the lack of foresight from both is astonishing.

Its almost like every season the past 3 seasons, they have been writing as if to end the show. Mike is a main character. He cannot just quit, go away, or legitimize his existence. We have to just find a way past this shit man.

I think every now and then, they can remind us of the burden of mike, but like, we havent escaped it for 5 years now. lol. We even went through a whole season where it was the second most talked about issue on the show.

Well the show should end by next season. It’s something that does have an ending and has been speeding toward it for a while now.

But as for the relationship, come on man. Yes, in the end it was always a bad idea. But who in the hell makes the decision tree in their head when talking to a hot girl “I want to date her…but nah I can’t because what if she finds out, we start dating anyway, she loves me too much, we get engaged and then her parents decide to invite the entirety of Harvard”. NO ONE is going to have that type of foresight early. At most they should’ve done something about it when moving in together and thought about it then but let’s be real, no matter what Doomsday scenario you told them, they would’ve went ahead with the shit anyway because it’s a lot easier to reconcile the issues before they crop up than after.

Yeah, i mean the harvard wedding thing was od, but just in general mike shouldve been like, best case scenario with rachel, is still a lot of worst case scenarios. Early on i get it, but mike has gone too far for a while now. Son is legit trying to build a life and career off of being a fraud lawyer who handles 8 figure accounts on a regular. Hes not just some fraud dui lawyer. lol.

I mean, its whatever, mikes character isnt going to follow logic, otherwise he wouldve started a tech startup at 19, and be a billionaire by now. I like the honesty this episode between mike and rachel though, but they have to cut each other loose. Even if mike quit for rachel, it will come back around somehow. You think her father and mother will not keep questioning forever as to why this young genius who even out shined her own father at times, turned down being a junior partner at a major firm to go start a popular string of food trucks or some shit. lol.

Sidenote, rachel has more ass this season. I feel she was a bit too twigly the past couple seasons, but either she using some padding, or her cheeks gained a little more beef in them finally.

If they cut each other loose at this stage there would be a ton of questions anyway.

Literally the only thing Mike could do to end shit would be to not only cut her loose but disappear from NYC altogether. And…that ain’t happening.

Mike was always on borrowed time. I don’t pity them both, because Mike had an out when he was working for that investment firm and Rachel has the intelligence to steer him in a legit direction.

The final season will be full disclosure, it’s only a matter of whom will fall alongside him.

It seems like we’re finally getting to the end point with Mike and him finally realizing this charade must end soon.

Well in all fairness Mike was fucked over on the Investment Firm side thanks to that piece crap who’s rightfully gonna rot in Rikers.

It figures that Mike is 3 seconds from being out the door after doing the right thing and resigning…and then SUDDEN ARREST!

I imagine that Claire dropped a dime.

Mike: ***“I’m done being a fraud. I’m going to resign and live my life right.”

“Michael Jeffrey Ross, you’re under arrest for conspiracy to commit fraud.”***

Well, this has to be the last season right? Unless this somehow carries through the last half of this season all the way into another one.

But seriously, this has to be it. Especially with no one able to defend him with Harvey gone. Jessica may like him now but not THAT much, same with Louis.

Well this was a surprise, well, the timing at least. It would be a nice twist if these charges are unrelated to him practicing fake law, but I doubt it.

I wonder whodunnit?

This was a good episode overall, more unity and closure and less petty infighting.
