It was only really meant to serve as a reason for Louis to get his associates back. And the only reason Louis lost them in the first place was to have an excuse to have Katrina be his personal associate.
the writers couldn’t figure out a more clever/better/funnier/more entertaining way for louis to get the associates back than the whole cat thing? really??
Louis had been outsmarted every which way by Nigel. Only way he was getting those associates back is if Nigel gave them up willingly. Not the best writing, or the most interesting or entertaining side plot but I’ll live with it because having Louis suddenly become more competent than Nigel would’ve been a copout.
Had they formed an evil bromance on their 1st encounter it would simply be a matter of making Katrina their time-share associate and show chemistry with Mike while the main plot line was developing.
…and the only pussy they should fight over is the Harvard admissions chick
…but that could step on Harvey and Stephen’s fight over Donna./my bad writing
Okay, FINALLY the nightmare of the Ava Trial is over. Cameron looks like less of a dick, Huntley gets his ass locked up, Jessica and Harvey are back to being okay…SOMEHOW.
I do like that Harold got some resolution. He even showed some balls.
And I do feel a bit bad for Darby. Unlike Hardman, I don’t think he’s really an evil man. And he did go to bat to make sure Ava didn’t get put away. Not to mention they finally elaborated a bit more on their connection. So this is going to be more of a sorrowful war than anything.
But they’re right back in a war. And if Darby wins they’re right back to where they started prior to the merger. At least Scottie and Katrina will be back, and we get more half naked Rachel next week.
I kinda liked Harvey’s words to Donna when she was tending to him:
“This was a fight, not a duel.”
Besides Darby bringing ‘baggage case’ to the merger, he’s asking for a favor now?
Donna and Huntley talk about their POVs on principles.
Message delivered: Huntley is out.
Louis the “Tyrant” is back in business of give the associates hell.
They more-or-less chose you, Louis, instead of Nigel.
You still mad about losing Mikado when you got the associates back?
Oh, wait… Louis realizes something, here.
‘Casual’ Mike making a play to see Mariga, who stays his position because of the situation/condition of Evil Birdman’s offer.
Wow. Louis goes to see Harold.
Harold stay standing his ground though.
Louis with the scoops on why Harold was let go.
Harvey trying to get Evil Birdman to ask Mariga for the info, but he’s like “How about… No.”
Harold confronts Mike about what Louis had said.
The ‘hate’ is strong with Harold.
What’s this?
Harold vs Louis.
Nice.
Here we go…
After Moriga takes the stand, Evil Birdman is ahead.
Strategy meeting during recess, Harvey wants to go after Huntley.
Huntley appears and is like; "If you go after me, I go after Ava."
Later, Huntley dodges/evades Harvey’s questions, though he is offered up to Evil Birdman.
Evil Birdman uses a change-up and Huntley talks about Ava’s faults as of recently.
The look on Harvey’s face… he mad at Evil Birdman for screwing him over.
Harvey, again, tries to appeal to Evil Birdman, who isn’t interested.
Harold vs Louis - 1
Welp, Louis got that round and allows Harold one provision in the suit.
Eva and Darby have it out regarding Huntley, That slap.
Darby opens up about his feelings on the situation: family.
Jessica has some feels here and goes to see Harvey.
Special bottle for a special occasion is cool.
Anger is lessened for forgiveness and leads to a new strat.
Harvey stops by Mike’s with the new plan: to remind Evil Birdman of what he had done regarding a past case.
That guy? Interesting.
Mike brings Clifford to see Evil Birdman the next day.
Harold vs Louis - Interlude
Hahahaha. Louis got “Litt Up” by Harold, due to that one clause.
Good shit, Harold.
Louis is mad.
Harold vs Louis - 2
Though Harold appears confident, Louis plays his hand to show up Harold to his firm, resulting in Louis getting the last laugh.
The way Louis drops file folders, you’d think he actually was playing cards.
Minimum hand he has is a straight, lol.
Pearson-Darby powwow for a bit until Evil Birdman appears and presents an offer: 8 years.
The deal is something, but Darby disagrees and says that he wants to do something.
Harvey doesn’t think that it’ll work, but Jessica says that it could work.
Harvey and Darby approach Evil Birdman with their own offer regarding Darby and Ava.
Evil Birdman has a choice of how he would like his “win” (deal vs verdict) and ends up agreeing to the offer.
Donna sees Huntley again, who is taken away as per the result of the offer that was drawn up and accepted.
Darby looks over the deal and sees the fine print: no longer able to practice law in US.
Tables are turned and merger stuffs are likely looking to be dissolved in the future(?).
Roundabout working together with Pearson group and Evil Birdman to oust Darby, but ends up successful.
Rachel reports that Harold dropped the suit, which results in Louis gloating over the victory.
On why Louis hates Harold: reminds him of his past and that Harold was his ‘failure’ in regards to associates.
With Rachel’s POV on the situation, Louis has a change of heart and allows Harold to have the ‘win’ instead.
Donna and Harvey have a moment and Harvey lets Donna have use of his car while he goes for a walk.
The case hearing was a highlight scene for me, especially Evil Birdman’s parts, as it reminded me of the Birdman show that was on Adult Swim years ago.
Everyone that is anyone continues to stop by other people’s places unannounced at night, lol.
good episode. looks like we’re getting back to some fun stuff the last two episodes.
Spoiler
donna back to forever alone. lol. harvey dont want that snatch anymore. your boy harold is so female. he should understand why mike wouldnt stick his neck out for him like that, and take responsibility for sucking. also good shit on rachel for standing up to louis about harold. he does go in on that dude heavy. now the race for clients begins.
I’m glad the tiral finally came to an end, which means the main drama will be dealing with personal relationships, so I expect Hot Donna and Harvey + Mike and Rachel/Katrina to be the main plot focus now.
It was weird seeing Cameron not being a complete douche, they’re probably going to use his recent shift for something later.
Louis Litt has some real issues…
BTW, does anyone know who this extra might be?
I’ve had my eye on her for quite a while, but since she’s an extra I can seem to find anything. =/
Man dat Harvey+Louis team up… That was scary like a Vergil/Strider teleport mix up.
Funny how Mike acting like a real lawyer is putting a wedge inbetween him and Rachel, and Harvey will NOT put his pride aside for anyone, not even a fine piece like Scottie. Harvey got that old school Saiyan pride, lol.
mike and rachel is a classic case of, this must be love, this must be destiny, but in reality its no, you guys really arent that compatible. lol
season finale is gonna be great. i think when jessica said you told zanes daughter all of my business, she was referring to mike telling rachel that he never went to harvard and who knows about it. which puts jessica and harvey in a bad place if rachel were to ever be who she is, snitch and or slip up.
harvey didnt have to go hard on shorty like that. donna was right, he shoulda just called first, but thats not my boys swag, and nobody has gotten it yet. above all else, harvey is bout dat firm life and bout dat lawyer life. mike has been like his only weakness, short of some personality flaws, and he has served mike up a few times, like nah nigga, fired.
small spoiler i dont feel like tagging, cause its not that important, but donna saying “you think just because you bought me a handbag you can talk to me like that”, um yeah god dammit. not only because of the handbag, but because your here, and im here. ooooooooh, classic line.
but nah, donna is a goddess, how dare you harvey.
i wasnt gonna bring it up, but has harvey’s lisp gotten worse over time. imma go back and watch some season 1 and 2 today as always, but i swear this season i have just been noticing his lisp like a lot. im like, is this nigga drunk on set or something. ole suffering suckatash ass nigga. thats not nice, he might be suffering from something.
Rachel making it quite hard for Mike to leave the apartment, lol. That visual…
Donna gets to go on a shopping trip, courtesy of Harvey.
Louis trying to get the lead on the dissolution stuffs, but Harvey is like, "IDK about that."
Jessica has the play drawn up though.
“I am not a joke.” - Louis Litt
Dunno about that, Louis. Many humorous moments were had at your expense. Watch someone make a YT montage about Louis ‘joke’ stuffs, lol.
“Litt-tastic.” Really, Louis?
(Play) Fair? Louis doesn’t seem to know that word, Jessica.
Ooh… the couple has a bit of a argument.
It’s always about the little things when people stay over at other people’s places, lol.
Here we go with the negotiations… and it’s against Nigel?
No, Louis. You are not The Hulk, especially with your physique resembling that of a mudman.
Katrina as Tinker Bell though… Yes, please.
Damn, Nigel playing with Louis’ feels with the Mikado stuffs: unread letters and a picture.
Harvey and Scottie meeting up, then the negotiation text interruption.
Yeah… Louis done fucked up.
Mike wants home-turf advantage, but Rachel is like, "Umm, no, cause other woman stuffs."
Later, the couple goes to what was to have been Granny’s place and Mike suggests that they move in together.
Harvey is hella mad at Louis, who had a chance, but blew it.
Nice side-profile view of Katrina here though.
Name drop stuffs for money:
Hardman? Fuck, no!
Bunk? Here we go.
Mike visits Bunk, who’s uninterested in helping Jessica and Harvey.
However, Mike goes ‘there’ with Bunk…
Katrina too good: has a play in mind and boosts Louis’ ego with the trademarked mug.
Louis goes to visit Tony G’s guy and hooks him up to show off his prowess.
The guy is impressed, but unfortunately shuts down Louis cause Tony G. wouldn’t ever give him the time of day due to his lacking status/name.
Man… that sucks.
Mike’s like, "I got the money."
Harvey’s like, “What did you do?”
Scottie has a key to Harvey’s place, as well?
Just need Donna to show up one of these nights, lol.
Scottie presents some terms to Harvey…
Family time with the Zane’s.
Bunk is impressed with Mike, all things considered.
Rachel OTOH is mad about how it happened.
Wow. Rachel shows up at Mike’s and the couple airs out some issues about moving in together, with Rachel needing more time to think about it.
Harvey tells Jessica about Scottie’s terms and apparently is okay with it. Jessica gives the okay.
Katrina with the pep talk to Louis to present the Tony G. plan to Harvey and help out.
Welp… Shit goes down and Harvey thinks that it was Scottie’s fault.
Donna’s like, "Talk to her."
Harvey’s like, “Nope,” and goes into vengeful-mode.
Louis brings Harvey the Tony G. plan… and Harvey is cool with it, besides acknowledging Louis’ ability.
Look at Louis… he’s so overcome with emotion… And he gets to tag along with Harvey for the meeting.
There’s Tony G. aka: guy who burns a $50,000 bond because he can.
Harvey and Louis talk up the deal, together, and get a vouch for Louis from Tony G’s guy, with Tony G. agreeing to the deal, in the end.
Donna gives Mike some advice and goes to talk to Rachel about giving her some more time to think things over.
Rachel tells Mike that she has been accepted to Stanford… and Mike has a look on his face.
Scottie tells Harvey that it isn’t her fault, but Harvey ain’t having none of that.
Jessica says that Scottie isn’t at fault… instead it’s Ava, who is going in on the firm, like a woman scorned.
Now here’s the question…what will Louis do with his knowledge? Going to Jessica isn’t exactly going to do anything at this point. But if he exposes Mike to the whole firm, Jessica will have to get rid of him.
