The Suits Thread

They could get a lot of mileage out of the Louis discovery… I could see him possibly blackmailing/strong-arming Mike for a bit. Mike clearly doesn’t want anyone else to go down because of him, so he’ll play along to keep Rachel, Harvey, and Jessica out of the crossfire.

Or, Louis, not being a dumbass, could figure out that Harvey and Jessica know about Mike and use it as leverage to get further at the firm.

Possibilities!

…and good GAWD was Donna lookin’ right in that dress in this ep. When she was walking up to Mike in the Associate’s Room… HHHNNNGH!

i can see louis trying to get his name on the door with his new info. that will probably end badly for him though.
i really didn’t like the whole rachel affidavit thing. if you’re not going to tell anyone just sign the damn thing. jessica is just trying to protect herself. any rational person would see that.
glad we got more detail about the harvard rule.

my biggest gripe was why the fuck didn’t louis just ask the admissions chick about mike ross?!!?!?!? she would know more about him (if he did go to harvard) than anyone. she would have been the one to grant him admission, followed his schooling career, and if mike is as good as we know he is, she would have known about his achievments/grades/etc. unless this was all explained in the hacking episode which i don’t remember too well.

It doesn’t matter if she wasn’t going to tell anyone.

Actually, Louis finding out shows how bad the affidavit can get. If Mike gets caught, Rachel’s ass is on the line as well.

As for Louis, he didn’t ask because it wasn’t important. He didn’t really suspect Mike of being a fraud. He was just curious to see both Harvey’s and Mike’s Harvard profiles.

rachel is pretty insignificant in the scheme of things. if louis finds out and he tells then jessica, harvey, and mike would be the ones who are in trouble. rachel wouldn’t be a blip on anyone’s radar.

i could have sworn louis had some suspicions at some point. like during the harvard trivia quiz?

It is, but think of it if you’re her. If Mike goes down, your entire career can go with it. Yeah, chances are that no one would particularly go after her…unless knowledge of their relationship also comes to light. She can definitely be brought in on a deposition by anyone who would want to take the firm down. While she wouldn’t knowingly screw them over…it’s still a possibility. Besides, she did sign it AND got something out of it.

As for Louis, that was a blip. If they had any attention of giving him suspicion, they wrote it out pretty quick. He never really followed up on that Harvard Trivia Quiz. And even if it was the case, obviously he didn’t feel his suspicions were valid enough to pursue with Sheila. Him finding out Mike’s a fraud is absolute coincidence.

Thought they were done with the fraud thing.

Louis is pretty much the last hurdle. If they get past him I doubt it’ll be brought up anymore…well at least by anyone other than Harvey clowning on Mike.

you kidding…louis having something over mike the golden child. hes gonna have a whole season of milking.

Nope, just business and another deposition… at her expense.
Tanner goes in again and brings up an affidavit from Huntley that changes things up on Scottie’s end.

Donna and Mike go to see Huntley about the affidavit, and Huntley says he was lying about Scottie.
A play is made when Donna asks to speak to Huntley alone, which later becomes an info statement for Harvey to use.

Jessica stops by Mike’s place. Probably the last person that he would expect to see visit him at home.
An affidavit that puts Rachel in jeopardy along with Mike?
Took that one out of Mike’s book, Jessica did.

Louis stay fucking up with Sheila, yet again.
You’re like so close to understanding what she means, Louis.
One more chance…

Mike tells Rachel about the affidavit from Jessica and Stanford looks to be a way to get out of the problem.

Ava deposition is a nice change of pace.
Pearson Specter sounds good, though.
Harvey in rare form and appealing/apologizing to Ava about stuff off-the-record… and it seems to work.
Tanner at 0-3 against Harvey, and he has to call him mom with that quarter, lol.

Mike with them feels and not wanting Rachel to go.
Harvey is like, “Sorry, man.”

Rachel confronts Jessica about the affidavit and asks her to waive the ‘Harvard rule’ for her when she graduates, so that she can work at the firm.

Harvey and Scottie celebrate the win at his place.
Besides work sensibilities together for the duo, Harvey admits his ‘feels’ for Scottie in regard to his personal life.

Rachel sees Mike and tells him that Stanford is the better fit… but she’s not going to go.
Looks like she’s staying.

Louis finds Sheila and they agree to be exclusive with one another.
Wait. Why is Louis being left alone in such a place of importance?
lol @ Harvey’s college pic.
What’s this? No ‘Mike Ross’ file is found…
Oh, shit… Louis, what will you do?

i know we always still had to deal with louis, but i feel you. im just so drained by the whole fraud thing, not to mention how did the most fundamental aspect of being a harvard grad just slip over everyones head, which is official paperwork. lol

i think it will be a nice first episode to the next season. i imagine louis asking his girl if they ever mess up and miss paperwork on graduates. she says no, then they fuck. he goes to work armed with a plethora of questions about harvard to mike to which mike answers except maybe like one, but he blows louis off to go do work. mike then goes into harveys office and tells him louis knows about him, but he doesnt know how because blah blah blah. by the end of the episode a very detailed and specific plan would have been concocted by mike, harvey, and whoever to show how harvard mike really is, and someone is also going to sneak in and put mikes paperwork into that drawer, solidifying his graduate status even more, and ending this whole topic.

if they go the route of letting louis know, id be shocked. hes too emotional and vengeful to have that information. he would slip up eventually, especially with his girlfriend. man that dude is really pressed on donna to slip up like that. i know that shit hurts bruh, but damn. donna still forever alone.

jessica was looking extra sexy to me this episode. her husband is a lucky man. oh shit i just googled her, WTF SHE IS MARRIED TO LAURENCE FISHBOURNE. lol, didnt know that. she needs some of this young meat though. he aint tonguing no booty hole, he to old.

The season isn’t over. This is just USA’s classic cutoff at the midway point so Suits isn’t off the air so damn long.

They forgot to do that for Season 1 and it was off the air an entire year. They learned their lesson.

This was the summer of love ep. It’s strange how Louis was obsessed over some other pussy when he had his own the whole time.

Rachel’s plan was smart, and I liked how Donna swooped in with the save.

Louis will be harder to convince than Jessica to ignore Mike’s lie, since Harvard is Litt-erally his lifeblood. It’s going to take 3-4 eps to reach a resolution.

All in all a good mid-season finale.

YES! I was in awe, her posture and pace was so deliberate. I know she had to have rehearsed that scene.

Actually they didn’t, they do it with a lot of their shows’ 1st seasons. It works as a trial or test for how well the ratings are for that particular show.

If the ratings are good enough they’ll extend the number of episodes for the next season, and split them up accordingly. Look at Psych, Burn Notice, White Collar, or Royal Pains episode lists and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Well considering your reaction and mine, I’d say the rehearsal paid-off in spades lol.

Why Is Katrina even in the cast at this point? Season finale was kosher, its like Mike’s past is the Gift that keeps on giving. Them using that as a cliff hanger for each season is getting old. Last year it was about Jessica finding out, then Rachael, now Louis… Next year will it be Katrina?? Her Dad?? Hardman?? this could go on forever.

i need a real trailer…gimme some new scenes!

It’s back next week, you can make it until then.

And we’re back!

premier had me laughing more than usual for a suits episode. donna didn’t get enough screen time. i love it when she gets all “actressy” on louis.
