Oh, I hope, I hope!

Ah well, Chun-Li is probably one of the best written characters in the SF book, so I won’t mind reading through a “Legends” of her until a FF comic comes.

  1. I don’t use Chun Li much.

  2. She’s one of the more fleshed-out characters in SF history, so there should be a lot to work with. I’d like to see a story about her relationship with her father…that really hasn’t been done before. Maybe dedicate a whole issue to showing Chun Li’s past or something.

  3. I know she’s very powerful in SF3. Then there’s the Sofa Shot™ and the Face Twist™ that she’s famous for in the SF2 animated movie. Those legs are no joke. She has the skills to be the strongest.

  4. I like the SF3 costume, but the Alpha costume is nice, too. I wish more women wore a jumpsuit like Chun-Li’s.

i would have preferred a Street Fighter Legends: Vega (claw) and how he became a psycho. or a SF Legends: Sagat and his fights with Dans dad…

  1. Usually, but not much in III:Third Strike. SF II Turbo, EX, and the Alpha series are where I shine with her, so yeah. Her mixup game is serious business in A series.

  2. Li and the Street Fighter history are inseparable because she has alot of direct and indirect history. Gen, from the very first Street Fighter tournament, trained her in Kung Fu. Then, comes her father’s death, which was brought on by Vega and his “organization”, Shadowloo. (M. Bison in the US). As Vega continued to participate in Street Fighter’s tourney and back story, Chun Li would follow, with an intention to square and extract her needed revenge.
    After that ordeal, one of Li’s students has been kidnapped by Urien and Gill’s organization, which forced Li to continue the fight. This history has made Li some enemies, a rival or two(Cammy), and some friends along the way both canon and non-game related.

3/. Street Fighter II-III wise: strongest woman? yes. Undoubtedly. Still, it is debatable because of Cammy’s involvement. In SF X, this is hard to say since Cammy has been toned down from her Killer Bee ways. Alpha Series? Pretty much since she can defeat many same-sex Street Fighter foes. However, Juni and Juli could be that problem. As for strongest in SF, male and females terms, she can be outranked by the best, including some of the Shadowloo Four and the rest of the dolls in Killer Bee.

4/. Her Alpha is my personal favourite because it says cop. Yellow and blue is something you can’t go wrong with or ignore for a costume. It makes her more versitile and quicker.

  • ( still hoping that either Francios Yep, Michelle Yoeh, Gong Li, or Zhang Ziyi plays her in the movie. Forget Lucy Liu).

  1. Chun-Li is actually one of the only characters I don’t use in SF. I just don’t like her moveset.

  2. She’s one of the “oldest” characters and has more of a story so I understand her importance to the series. In that regard doing a mini on her is a good idea, plus she’s more than a few people’s favorite, so it’s wise from a marketing standpoint. (Chun-Li is probably even more popular than Sakura I would think.) Luckily Udon has basically already handled my favorites; Cammy, who’s story is integral to the main line comic, and of course Mika, who has a significant part of the spotlight in the Sakura mini, which is probably all she really deserves. I wouldn’t mind seeing an Akuma or Vega (Balrog) series, but rest assured I’ll buy anything Udon decides to do that’s fighting game related.

3.Is Chun-Li the strongest? Yes, but only because her fierce attacks have too much priority…

4.SF2 costume all the way, preferably pink, hell, I make everyone pink, even Twelve. Probably just cause it’s funny to win with a living blob of Pepto-Bismol.

I was thinking Ziyi or Michelle at first, But I thing Gong Li would do good as Chun-Li.

  1. I use her in every fighting game. CvS2, CvS1, ST, HF, A2, A3, 3S, XvSF, MvC, and even a little bit in MvC2.
    I like her the most in CvS2 and Super Turbo. Good Designs.

  2. Her history is pretty interesting, but I like the post Interpol “HUNT BISON” mode a little better. What’s keeping her motivated after bison’s death? Etc.

  3. Of course she’s the strongest, look at those legs! but I also think she’s the most skilled/acrobatic.

  4. I like the SF2 dress, but I don’t think she should be running around in it, cuz it would look silly. Ceremonial fights only plz. Jumpsuit is a good look for standard action and such. But other looks are nice too. Or her letting her hair down… etc.

Cant wait for the Chun Li legends to come out, If they ever do, considering its still in the maybe stage…I think.:wonder:

If they ever make another humorous Legends like the Sakura one like they said in the interviews, it would be funny if they made it about Ken’s early years, when he started training with Master Gouken and pulled all sorts of Pranks on Ryu :woot:
