I just realized…you called her “Ms. Li” isn’t that incorrect? As her whole name is Chun-Li not first name Chun and last name Li, right? 
It happened in the dubbed version of SFII AM, and I always wondered why, seeing as her last name isn’t Li…

I believe she’s strong, but not the strongest. I notice in a lot of asian martial arts, someone who is a skillful fighter is considered “strong”, even is his average strength is low, ie: someone with good kung fu technique is said to have “strong” kung fu. Most martial arts aren’t about physical strength anyway, so I think that strongest woman in the world thing is her simply saying she’s the most skilled female martial artist in the world.
The SF2 Movie dub changed plenty of things, that’s just one example.
On a side note, Professor Xavier calls her Ms. Li in XMvSF.

yeah any game she is in i will use her to her fullest its hard trying to keep up with the different versions but i always found a way to make it work. yeah certainly after rose chun li will kick ass. i never liked how they raped her character in the animated movie. i think she should have been in the final fight against bison rather than guile who got his ass kicked. i need to get back into SSF2T

so many characters from the Alpha series that wasnt covered in the main book could be expanded on . I am just hoping that we will get a seperate on going book instead and that is why we havent heard about it yet
I take it you still haven’t picked up SF Legends Sakura #4 where Studio Udon answered that question for you in the same issue. 
ya I live in Japan and so I have them sent to me every two months or so and I couldnt get anyone to answer it for me LOL
I do not think the strengths of Rose and Chun-Li are comparable.
Rose and M. Bison wield mystical powers; Chun-Li wields martial arts. I would say that, on a scale of absolute ability, Rose would be stronger than Chun-Li, but in the sense of “strongest woman in the world”, Chun-Li will always come out on top. She even says it herself!
SF2/3 outfit>>>>>>Alpha outfit. Unless you have her doing any sex scenes…which I’d definitely advise you do.
But yeah…I’d have to say that Chun Li>Rose…
I mean, Chun Li isn’t like, say, Yun. She has some mystical-ish powers with her kikou-sho.
thats not mystical thats chi/ki, however you want to say it. rose is mystical: psychic, teleport, read minds, and i believe the ability to fly. chun li is just strong and able to manipulate her energy waves into a puff ball. and were talkin bout sf reality not real world reality.

I know you live far away I was being a bit of a jerk, lol! Since you don’t have your issue just yet, here’s the question and answer for that one. Since this is a bit of a spoiler but not really, highlight to view. 
*Jamar Millar: Due to the overwhelming success of Street Fighter Legends Sakura, will we finally get a Final Fight comic or miniseries?
ERIK(AKA Udoneko, Erik Ko): Nothing is impossible. But looking at our 2007 schedule, we are pretty solid already with quite a bit of stuff happening (you know soon… or… maybe I already said too much… laughs). So if it is going to happen, it will be 2008. It depends on what Capcom wants us to do in 2008 though… because it is Street Fighter’s 20th Anniversary after all. *

I don’t really enjoy playing as Chun (much less fighting against her), but if I have to eke out wins in ST, HSF2, XSF, and MvC1, then I’ll rock her. Prostitute her and her powers, even.
She does get points by virtue of the pioneer rule. One day in the video game museum, she’ll be filed under the title “first fighting game female that was actually attractive.”
I always thought the Alpha athletics suit was more practical than the Chinese dress-with-military boots-and-pantyhose hybrid.
What??? But Erik Ko said that if SFL:S was a success, they’d simply ask Capcom for the Final Fight license…

I play here in just about every game i can with her.
I think that in video games period she opened the doors for female characters to be in fighting games and she has a very strict strong personality.
Of corse not. I think that Sakura is potentially stronger than her that or Makoto

Actually, with Ingrid I believe the number of playable SF characters is 51 if you count Eagle and Maki.
I started with Chun-Li due to ease (Lightning Kick) but stuck with her for a while due to overall strength of character. While she’s not my current favorite SF character (Elena) she still has a definate place. I’m curious on how they are going to portray her new “motherly” role if they ever do another SF.
We have not stopped that idea yet. But you have to understand there are a lot involved in signing a license. We are still in early negotiations. Not sure if the deal will go thru or not. Will keep you posted. In the mean time, we wanna bring you more SF legends, thus we start moving fwd with our next story development.
Note: by saying this, it is NOT a confirmation that we will definately do a Final Fight. But it is still a possibility.
