If I ever find out you bought any of the Street Fighter updated re-releases, I won’t let you live this down. I’ll even put this post in my sig.
Platinum patches a lot of bugs and design failures of DP (lol no Fire-types) and add new places and features. BW2, as said by Spinning Beat, is a legit sequel.
Also, Gold had the worst level curve in the series. It manages to be easy and a grindfest.
In other news, you should have Color Edit in SFV with an option to disable your opponent’s custom color (Replacing it to default) when playing online. Something similar to Skullgirls and their alternate voice packs.
But that would mean a good, complete feature AND a loss of money for capcom because people wouldn’t buy FM exclusive colors, leading to more FM to buy stages, outfits and characters.
That is not official… it says so in the blog post. At a later date, we’ll share with you even more modes and features coming to the game, along with pricing and release timing. Also they can show all the shit they want… Remember the extra boss mode in SFV? That shit is no where to be found now. I’ll wait and see what my copy of USF2 ships with.
The LP difference between them really isn’t that far. What is it like 2000 for silver and 3000 for gold or something? I grinded for plat a month after release and stopped playing ranked
So in other words you can’t read. I wasn’t asking for a solution to the problem. I was asking why it is a crossup and I have to block the other way when she is clearly in front of me. It makes no sense to have to push towards my opponent to block an attack from them.
But thanks for the advice letting me know if I walked under what would happen … MIND BLOWN. I never would have guessed that if she jumped over me we would switch sides. Maybe now I can reach master rank with that piece of advice. Thanks.
Isn’t it a good thing if USF2 beats SFV, though? Presumably it would indicate Capcom learned from earlier mistakes and there’s still a large market for 2d fighters. Not to mention that increasing sales of one SF game might theoretically trickle over to another. I swear, some of y’all motherfuckers just seem like you want to whine and complain for the sake of doing it.
Last night, every ranked match I played, if my opponent didn’t run back the first match, it acted as if the match never happened. I faced this Bison with 2k points more than mewho was trying some gimmicks that I finally caught onto, and I dropped a combo to win the match then he ended up winning, and he QUICKLY did not rematch. The next match I went into I still had my 4 game win streak. Pretty much EVERY match after the first one, it fails to send data to servers.
Then I had like 2 disconnects that happened after the “ANOTHER FIGHTER IS COMING YOUR WAY” at the loading screen.
Then if you play casual, 1/2 the matches are people who are AFK with a button on turbo to farm EXP and get fight money because they are too fucking cheap to spend $5 on shit they enjoy, so they instead have their console on for days at a time getting EXP, probably costing them more than $5 in electricity to earn the fight money, and wasting all of their opponents time.
I’m pretty much done with anything other than battle lounge at this point. And even that is awful because I get everyone from countries on the other side of the world joining my lounges instead of people close by in the USA.
