It would lead to standing reset on CH I think if that is what you’re referring to. I mean, yea there are some cases where you can capitalize from the reset if the other guy is busy hitting buttons.
I get what Mike is saying, but was what that other guy said about Fried Chicken meant to be intentionally racist? Weren’t they eating it on the stream or something? I legitimately don’t know the whole story.

It has to do with the general concept/racist joke that black people like watermelon and fried chicken. Context made it racist. Earlier in that episode there’s someone making a joke that went: “stay with the one that looks at you the way Mike Ross is looking at that fried chicken”, in that joke fried chicken could be changed with anything and it’d still work, so it’s not racist.
I always felt Ross was that guy you could totally joke around with at the bar and it’d be whatever. Im surprised too

All I can say is I’m Italian and people accuse me of eating pizza and pasta all the time, which I most definitely do and am proud of. My response is usually “Yeah you fucking got any of that shit for me?” In fact, I have some Spaghetti and Chicken Parm in my fridge waiting to be eaten.

Mike disappeared from stream and when he returned they made a joke about how watching Xyzzy made him hungry and he went for the Birdie V-Skill and had some donuts. I can’t remember chicken being mentioned at any point. Since that was during the amateur tournament and the interview was obviously after the pro one, that would be hours later.
Seems like an odd joke to make to a black person, and I’m not sure how else he was supposed to interpret it even if it wasn’t meant to be race related.
Everybody makes racist jokes, but it gets tired after a while, at least for me. Especially if we’re not cool like that, and in a professional setting.
I remember in high school having to smack a guy for constantly reaching with the race shit. Nothing crazy, just a regular open hand check-a-dude type shit. He didn’t fight, and knocked that off immediately.
Just saying there could’ve been prior jokes to make Mike walk off like that.

After Bizzaro Mike said that chicken comment, Max just happened to be in the room that Mike Ross walked off into, and said " Hey black boy, want some more juicy chicken!? Bet you do, bet you do! " Then he shoved a chicken in Mike’s mouth, hence resulting in Mike’s recent emotional stress.
I’m sure it wasn’t. Almost positive. It’s just that looking at your explanation and then going into something makes it look like it isn’t a big deal to them/they don’t understand.
I don’t know you as person, no (and I never said I did), but are you not going to admit you’re ignorant on the subject? You could be my next door neighbour for all I know, but at this very moment, your post showed me that you don’t understand why it might have been offensive.
Everybody has a limit, I’d guess. No telling what Mike had put up with, so maybe this was just the tipping point or something? Idk. Or again, maybe Mike was trying to be professional and that little bit at the end was anything but.

There are not enough Laura players in the US and I think he could do really well.
Because let’s face it. Mike was never a big lab monster and didn’t have much tech, but he was always a read/reaction based player which got him some wins against top level players.

I fought Mike Ross in tournament once at CEO. All he did was complain about how bad E Honda vs. Vega is 
SSFIV was the only one he did well in as far as I remember, so that sounds right.
