Not really. But I notice some players will do it occasionally depending on the situation. you sort of have to pick a good moment to backdash. It’s certainly not a good option on wake-up.

cant it lead to interrupt some combos by just letting your opponent hit you on the first hit while the second whiffs which in some cases leads to you being able to punish your opponent?

I was fighting a raggo Ken this morning and he jumped in on me and instead of using b.mp I actually DP’d.

I’m only thinking about this now because it was more like a twitch reaction rather than saying “I’m gonna DP this guy”

I’ve found non floaty jump characters hard to DP cuz I have the reactions of a 90 year old covered in molasses.

One thing I noticed is that after I DP’d him he wasn’t jumping as much ;^|

After playing a character with a viable AA jab, I’ve realized that they don’t seem to be teaching people to not jump as effectively as big moves. Even though stand jab is far more effective, niggas won’t stop jumping until I air SPD.

Exactly. At the very least he shouldn’t have to expect racist jabs when he’s performing his job in an official capacity on camera.

Also, there was that one CPT stream where some motherfucker decided to create an account called “Mike Ross is a n i g g e r” and spam invites the entire time. Racism is still very much a thing, and I don’t think a zero tolerance policy on stream is a bad thing.
