This has been refuted 1,000,000x everyone thought he was ass in Beta 3. Beta 4 they fixed a few things for him outside v-trigger and he got significantly buffed from beta 4-final because he couldn’t combo his SRK’s AT ALL in v-trigger because they removed juggle properties or significantly nerfed the hit boxes on them all. They realized that was fucktarded as shit and gave him back quite a bit of juggle potential just not as much as he had beta 2/3.
Beta 2 = best ken
Beta 3 = Ass outside V-trigger/Still retarded in v-trigger
Beta 4 = Same outside V-trigger we have now/Almost no juggle potential in v-trigger
Final = 2nd best ken we got to try of the 4.
Honestly the tiers fell exactly how i predicted before DLC characters other than Dhalsim I thought would be better and I had Bison more in the dead middle to maybe a spot above middle. Literally 0 other upsets. Peeps just have selective memory.
Yeah, he plays necalli and Chun, she uses Laura, unless they’ve changed/added more characters… But last I saw her she seemed like the character specialist type. Dude used both necalli and Chun though. I’m trying to not use their names cause srk etc
I just played the nuttiest Ryu ever. Like I still won, but holy shit god damn he was NUTTY!!!
I honestly thought it was a @Norse_Fury smurf account. That’s how fucking nutty this kid was. He really played Ryu like fucking Necalli. I need stop dropping combos on stick in matches so I can get the hell out of Ultra Silver.
I had enough of these weirdos for one day. I’m turning off my PS4 until tomorrow.
Random. It’s 2016 and niggas are still playing the “I don’t even play this game, so I should’ve lost” Option Select. I’ve seen it a lot in the past, but I’ve seen it in SFV more than I have in nearly **every **other fighting game. It’s not that hard to just take an L and move on. What’s stupid is whining how “SFV sucks” just to make yourself feel good about losing.
Forget pad unfriendly. There are plenty of button combinations that when repeated often enough are arthritis inducing on stick too. That said I think that whether they intended to or not that Capcom has left themselves a ton of design space to work with V-Skills, V-Triggers and V-Reversals. Now, to be fair, a lot of that is due to the fact that ~12/22 V-Skills, 4/22 V-Triggers and 4/22 V-Reversals IMO fall somewhere between crap-tastic and ‘Meh’. There’s also a ton of different directions that they could go with regards to V-Meter build. Now, do I think that Capcom is really going to push the envelop with any of this? Not a chance but it would be nice.
Chun: gains projectile invincibility on the way up
Mika: can dash cancel hers
Nash: becomes a reflect, or recovers life.
Alex: charge time is halved or less
Urien: charge time is halved or less
Ryu: instant startup, less recovery
Guile: stays out longer, is plus or even on block up close.
Birdie: either all the v skills come out faster or, can hits twice, banana stays out longer and causes more hitstun, v juice gains more meter.
Laura: all dashes are faster, over head is safer on block
Rashid: roll becomes faster, divekicks do more damage
Fang: causes hitstun, like a jabs worth, but it’s there.
Ken: the attack is -1. The dashes are faster.
Cammy: faster, same properties.
Necalli: Heat seeks, or becomes faster. One of the 2 but not both
