The Street Fighter V Lounge: Tron Bonne rumored as DLC

Ruby Heart was on stream <3 o_o

wanna tell me where i can get tekken 6 pc version? or TTT2?

after being a pile of issues for what… a year and a half? Do you think maybe MKX might have been more popular on PC if they hadn’t released it in such a sorry state, announced they were abandoning it, then unabandoned it? Or do those things have no effect on the popularity of a game? I mean it’s great they finally fixed the game, but launches are very important for the long termed sustained success of a retail competitive game.

Rev and KoF14 are much more niche games with smaller budgets. Different strokes for different folks. A lot of people think GG is too hard, or they don’t like team fighters. I honestly think Xrd should be much much bigger than it is, but I think there are multiple factors working against it that I don’t want to write an article describing it.

:expressionless:
cmon man

and yet…

Captain obvious

log on

lose first game
game crashes before it goes to rematch screen

yea im not fucking getting penalized for this horse shit

BL seems to be working fine
Not going to test my luck and lose 1000 lp and a ban

some people in the eu, me included, seem to have some issues too to connect to the game.
seems someone fucked something up on the servers…

Sorry man, that sucks.

AFAIK the only real issue with the PC version was the trash online (which was shared with console versions) and a bad optimization that still allowed to play the game normally offline. Support drop happened a year later and clearly didn’t affect launch.

It sucked real bad early on because half the features didn’t work.

the game just straight up didn’t work for a lot of people at launch, then I know there was a bunch of crash bugs.

5 seconds of googling got me this thread with tons of issues https://www.reddit.com/r/Games/comments/34bovu/mortal_kombat_x_for_pc_is_not_fixed_despite_what/

after a botched launch how are you going to have sustained post launch success?

Yea MKX had a ton of problems; we used to have a guy who would haul his PC rig to our sessions to play it. After every patch it was the same thing: Well it randomly crashes, Well it sometimes runs at sub 30 fps, well it doesn’t recognize my stick anymore, well it doesn’t load all the game features sometimes, well it doesn’t even start up sometimes, well the patch is delayed, well MKXL isn’t coming to PC… I’d almost say WB handled PC MKX worse than SFV has been, but rootkits and such.

I was surprised MKXL even got the PC fix it did recently; either they had been working on it the whole time or it was just so simple for the team they just tossed it out to make some end of life profit…

I can’t decide who I hate fighting more: Ken or Nash

If I can offer a 3rd party…Cammy

The main reason it took so long was because WB fired High Voltage who handled the port, and had to find someone else to handle the PC version. WB brought on Q-LOC who practically fixed damn near all the entire mess HV left behind.

I’ve come to realize SF5 just has bad programmers. I watched an Iwata documentary and it talked about how godly he was at programming video games. Quick example was Earthbound(Mother 2 in jp). The people making the game went to Iwata to help with the game, and Iwata said the way the game’s been programmed, it would take 2 years to finish. Or they could just let him redo everything from the beginning, and it would only take 6 months to finish.

Forgot they outsourced the fix for it as well lol…

Bad programmers would mean the game is bug ridden with poor performance. I don’t think either of those are really relevant to SF5. It’s got pretty good quality and has good performance (other than 30fps background characters).

The point has gone way over your head. If you can’t understand PS4 > Low End PC that can’t run the game properly, then that’s your problem.
