wanna tell me where i can get tekken 6 pc version? or TTT2?
after being a pile of issues for what⌠a year and a half? Do you think maybe MKX might have been more popular on PC if they hadnât released it in such a sorry state, announced they were abandoning it, then unabandoned it? Or do those things have no effect on the popularity of a game? I mean itâs great they finally fixed the game, but launches are very important for the long termed sustained success of a retail competitive game.
Rev and KoF14 are much more niche games with smaller budgets. Different strokes for different folks. A lot of people think GG is too hard, or they donât like team fighters. I honestly think Xrd should be much much bigger than it is, but I think there are multiple factors working against it that I donât want to write an article describing it.

MKX is a shitshow on PC
It has been fixed a month ago.
Both Revelator and KOF14 on consoles have sold way less than SF5 and people state here that after a few months it has become hard to find games online on console. If people were so thirsty of fighting games wouldnât they both have better sales and growth expectations since they are considered as much superior to SF5?

So Iâm getting ranked matches every 30 seconds (on PS 4) and my friend whoâs on steam has to wait 2-5 minutes for a game.
Anyone know whatâs wrong?
Console bitches shutting PC players out of matchmaking because they fear the masterrace secret powers.
Shit PCs and lag switch is the secret powers when it comes to this game.
PS4 is shittier than most modern PCs (as evidence by the fact many PS4 people play on training stage to avoid frame drops) and you can lag switch both on console and on PC.
PS4 being inferior to an Ultra end PC doesnât mean anything. Thatâs common knowledge.
People play SFV with shit PCs, thatâs why every other PC player fucks up the game, and lagging the game takes 20 seconds to setup.
cmon man

SFV is the only fighting game Iâve ever played where even when your characters are literally overlapping one another your normal still has a high chance of whiffing.
and yetâŚ

AFAIK the only real issue with the PC version was the trash online (which was shared with console versions) and a bad optimization that still allowed to play the game normally offline. Support drop happened a year later and clearly didnât affect launch.

It sucked real bad early on because half the features didnât work.

the game just straight up didnât work for a lot of people at launch, then I know there was a bunch of crash bugs.
5 seconds of googling got me this thread with tons of issues https://www.reddit.com/r/Games/comments/34bovu/mortal_kombat_x_for_pc_is_not_fixed_despite_what/
after a botched launch how are you going to have sustained post launch success?
Yea MKX had a ton of problems; we used to have a guy who would haul his PC rig to our sessions to play it. After every patch it was the same thing: Well it randomly crashes, Well it sometimes runs at sub 30 fps, well it doesnât recognize my stick anymore, well it doesnât load all the game features sometimes, well it doesnât even start up sometimes, well the patch is delayed, well MKXL isnât coming to PC⌠Iâd almost say WB handled PC MKX worse than SFV has been, but rootkits and such.
I was surprised MKXL even got the PC fix it did recently; either they had been working on it the whole time or it was just so simple for the team they just tossed it out to make some end of life profitâŚ

The main reason it took so long was because WB fired High Voltage who handled the port, and had to find someone else to handle the PC version. WB brought on Q-LOC who practically fixed damn near all the entire mess HV left behind.
Iâve come to realize SF5 just has bad programmers. I watched an Iwata documentary and it talked about how godly he was at programming video games. Quick example was Earthbound(Mother 2 in jp). The people making the game went to Iwata to help with the game, and Iwata said the way the gameâs been programmed, it would take 2 years to finish. Or they could just let him redo everything from the beginning, and it would only take 6 months to finish.

Forgot they outsourced the fix for it as well lolâŚ

Bad programmers would mean the game is bug ridden with poor performance. I donât think either of those are really relevant to SF5. Itâs got pretty good quality and has good performance (other than 30fps background characters).

Guess Iâll just take something to avoid falling asleep while waiting for my opponentâs PS4 to load the match.
And the system performance only affects loading times anyway, only EXTREMELY underpowered PCs can add some rollback⌠but this usually means itâs a slideshow on their side too.As a matter of fact, most PC players I fought load insanely faster than any PS4 player. The people playing on bad PCs are surely a minority as they can barely even play on training stage without heavy modding.
The point has gone way over your head. If you canât understand PS4 > Low End PC that canât run the game properly, then thatâs your problem.
