The Street Fighter V Lounge - McRibs for the good, The Purge of 2016 for the bad

Capcom was really da gods back in the day though. They would drop like 6 fighters a year and not a single fucj was given.

I remember picking up rival schools, persona and EX+ in the same day ( it was like 6 little ashy black and Asian kids scrapping together whatever money we could then hitting EB games) and just going ham for like 15 hours straight. We had the fighters going in one side of the room and goldeneye 64 on the other.

I miss the dark ages.

Oh and a nigga copped theme hospital that day too.

Those dark days…in more ways then one.

Infiltration got an Alex y’all

to be real a second I have played less than 2 hours of this game since it left beta. it took me about that long to realize I didn’t want to ever play it again. 3s is the greatest game ever made, CVS2 seems pretty sick, and most other fighting games are turds

I only come here to read what all my SRK friends have to say and waste away the lunch break hours at work, while I slowly grow older, wondering where my life has gone

fuck I’m almost 30. where is the fancy car and wife with big tits I was promised?? instead I jack off to Faye Reagan and try to forget that she has genital warts now

life sucks, can’t wait to die

You need to put more money into hookers and blow. Come back when your done with both.

U-league thing going on. Lots of big names in attendance:

Not on twitch. Good luck.

The whole new char and whatever new shit capcom does what I’m excited about tbh lol.
But I think this game’s gonna be another ultra where it gets interesting towards the end and not the beginning.

Did I also forget to mention sony is releasing a ps4.5 in a few months? with new hardware?..they replaced alotta parts in the neo…

I heard about the PS4.5, I’m waiting to get that before I buy another. My last broke and I managed to get a full refund when it was out of warranty by sweettalking the customer service reps.

Anything that makes FFXIV run smoother is necessary

I held off of all next gen consoles and have not had my hands on one yet, and I didn’t even see that coming.
I am also waiting to see wtf, the news on ff15(Um what is this coming out for?) before I bother.

The xbox one was gonna be such a clear choice… till that news, and the Nx made it worse lol.

FFXV is coming out late September, PS4 exclusive but it might come out for other things later on

I hope that game comes to any of the 3 platforms:
Steam(already usin this)
NX(I’d play tf outta the version)
Xbox(Cuz Metroish)

What are you talking about? FFXV is coming to XBox ONE.

That’s dope then but still holdin off a console till I see a physical NX in action.

What doesn’t Infiltration have? Dude mained the right side of the character screen in AE:2012 and the left in Ultra. He only mains Nash because Nash is a fucking shitshow to play against unless its a mirror.

It’s like Capcom designed a whole character based on his play style, hard to lock down, unreadable with good movement. I swear there was never a style that went better with a player apart from maybe poongko and Seth.

Yo what’s up with people that just spam lk non stop? I got matched 6 times (six fucking times) with this guy

whats a momochi and his psychic DPs

they dont mind losing , they put a macro to spam lk to get exp at the end of the fight

Seriously?? I’ve never noticed an XB1 logo at the end of their trailers, my mistake then

This is the right way to look at it

Look, the internet is a really hostile place. I’ve noticed that no matter how tempered and measured I try to make my criticisms, there’s always at least one reply that seems super angry. Like “If you hate the game, fuck off and don’t play it, it’s not our problem” and 20 likes and agrees or whatever.

But very few of the people in this thread making critical posts hate Street Fighter V. We all like it or we’d have quit. We’re being critical because criticism is good, not bad. Critical thinking and expression are how things improve, even if said criticism is completely wrong. Nothing ever got anywhere with a bunch of people patting each other on the back for agreeing with each other.

For whatever reason, the internet has bred a culture of hostility when it comes to critical discourse. People are very uncomfortable with having their views challenged or having things they love criticized.
