The thing is the final day’s games were announced in January or whatever. People probably bought tickets to Sunday to see specific games played, I know I did. I would ask for a refund if Xrd was bumped, for example, and I would be in the right to do so.
my hope, 8hour of story and gameplay, good face animation, a realy good story that will make me feal the struggle of ryu again the satsui the rage of nash the madness of bison etc…
my expectation,30min of terrible animation, 20 fight again easy bot, stupid story that make no sense
For real. I miss being frustrated fighting a cheap ass final boss. Haven’t experienced this since fighting Magaki in KOF XI. That boss got me to the point where I questioned why I even played fighting games in the first place.
I’m surprised no one is expecting cameos in the story. Especially given the cameos in the prologues. We could an MKX situation (for better or worse) with fully modled characters. I doubt we’ll fight them though. But hey fully modled Oro and Sean is what i’m waiting for.
When you face the AI in training mode, it’s actually really good. I don’t understand why it’s so terrible in Survival. Anyway, if they used the AI from training mode and just expanded upon it a bit in the story, then it wouldn’t be that bad and would prove a challenge to a lot of people. Whoever the final boss is could be given some special properties like Akuma/Evil Ryu/Gouken/Oni had in Ultra. I dunno… I miss the days of getting stuck on final bosses in video games.
I’m not even going to bother. Maybe I’ll show up for Marvel, but I plan to start with Xrd. Going to grab food during Melee, come back and watch some SFV.
Of course, I’ll have some of the guys I know on the EVO staff make sure no one–NO ONE–sits in my entire front row of seats. Even thinking about buying blow-up dolls and strapping them to the chairs.
I expect to get some FM for getting through it and I’m hoping that all it takes to do so to start it up and let it do its thing or at the very least have the decency to respond to a controller with the ‘X’ button taped down. Bonus points if it has a fast forward feature similar to the one that the replay function uses. I do not care about the story mode in the slightest. As far as I’m concerned it is a waste of resources that could have been used to extinguish or at least control some of the tire fires found elsewhere in the game and it is a waste of hard drive space on my PS4.
Nah, that’s an overstatement. I don’t think there’s going to be much of a fighting other than at some key points in the story a-la Nash vs Bison or Chun vs Rashid. Most of it hopefully will be just that, a cinematic experience similar to GGXrd
When people say the US “uses” the imperial system it’s kind of bullshit. I studied Engineering in college and only on very rare occasions do I remember using the imperial system. Sure technically the US still uses it, but for all intents and purposes, at least in the STEM community, we have switched to SI
