So thanks to your good old irrelevant user on SRK, I just somehow showed evidence to a Mexican player, who then comes up with the conclusion that SFIV on PC has better netplay experience compared to SFV based on the one-sided rollback video. I didn’t attempt to go that far, but apparently he says that’s the case from multiple translations.
…and here I thought they drench themselves in teleports.
Which, might I add… trying out SFV online tonight had to be the worst experience I felt my entire 2 months (which I barely played SFV online throughout the time). I regretted even opening up SFV online in private battle lounge. Got upset at Twitter, because hit-confirming just isn’t a thing with one-sided rollback going on (with the usual symptoms).
We basically had the same symptoms… although from my impersonation, I got 90% of the problems, he had 10% of the problems. He did say most of it was great, but one or few rounds he had the 10~30 seconds of fine connection going right into rollback oblivion. I had that problem about 90% of the time.
I thought it would of been to sort out the still fucked servers,
Is anyone else having trouble with constantly disconnecting? I was trying to play last night and every 4-5 minutes I would get disconnected, the games would take ages to load and none of the points or ranks were loading.
This was on PS4, I couldn’t play like, the three times I tried throughout the evening.
Switching it on for the first time tonight. Kinda like switching on Batman vs Superman. You saw all the good bits in the trailer already and now all that’s left is working out the bullshit filler.
Interested to see the hit box comparisons, if only to see how much they fucked up my man.
Come on bro. I’ve been telling you about Urien man. It’s the closest you’re going to get to what you wanna do in this game. I mean…LOOK. Why are you even thinking about Grief when you complain about your man already? LOOK
Even the only other guy that plays SFV in Australia, Dime is using him.
Many true PC players remember the golden days of it.
Then the steam works transition happened (in preparation for Ultra) and AEv2014 (not a typo, meant to type 4) came out and the netcode was shit for like 6 months, probably as bad as PS3, so XBL became the best. They eventually fixed the netcode to make it about even with the XBL netcode, but it never reached it’s old GFWL quality. (sorry, had to say it)
At this point I think I’d be doing myself a disservice playing urien now that akuma is out and as busted as he is.
Just found out akumas v trigger BNB does 358 damage from a cr.mp.
His regular BNB does 238 outside v trigger.
Not only that but akumas v trigger DP acts as a capture throw so it can’t be backrolled on and get this… it’s a PERFECT meaty setup for fhp or dash x2 st.lk or mk tatsu crossup… so many things… I just keep finding weapons on this character the more I explore him.
Wtf were they thinking with the changes to Nash? He might genuinely be the worst character in the game now lol. Ex scythe nerfs are way overboard in my opinion.
Guile, Akuma and Urien are all strong. Guile is more boring to play now but he got better. Akuma should be the fun factor barometer when they are making decisions on future characters.
