People are gonna bitch about Akuma soon. That character is freaking retarded.
On a side note, his super (QCFx2 +P) is easily the best super in the game. It looks cool, anti-airs, combos very easily, can be used for whiff punishing. Have crazy pushback on block so hard to punish. His super does everything and is very reliable at it.
I really want GG Rev, but I will wait for at least a 25% sale. 72 dollars is rough after I just bought a new phone since my last one finally broke down.
I just realized the new christmas stage is a metaphor for how capcom has treated alex
Bunch of characters with nice new costumes on
And he’s sitting there in his poverty flannel (it’s not even a long sleeved shirt!)
And capcom didn’t even let him buy a jacket
Maybe santa will bring him a wrench so he can fix his shitty truck at least
Laura is actually the one character in the entire roster I have absolutely the most match up experience against. My training partner has always played a ridiculous Laura and is the most knowledgeable and most solid one I’ve played/seen. I wouldn’t have beaten Europe’s best(?) Laura, Will2Pac, in tournament if it wasn’t for our matches. I’m probably more familiar with Laura than most Laura players are at this point considering all the Laura exposure/research I’ve had.
That being said, even he admits she’s pretty busted in s2. He’s gotten 9th at Combo Breaker this year and has even beaten Infiltration in a Grand Finals set in SFxT at Final Round some years ago when Infiltration was hella dominating. He’s good.
We used to go even though he did have a positive win% over me by the end of s1.
we’ve played at least 80-100+ games since season 2 began and I probably only have 20-25 wins total on him so far in s2.
Alex vs Laura, in s1, was slight advantage Alex. Now it’s shifted to Laura having a bigger advantage. Combination of Laura’s Buffs and Alex nerfs + system change benefits definitely factor in.
Not saying either of us are the best players or anything, but people are definitely overlooking Laura’s more than glaring strengths and are underestimating her neutral.
