Overall though you should be looking at Kindo. He was a top Fei player and is a top Laura now, he just never goes out to tournaments.

I also don’t like him and don’t want to see him win anything (even if he mains the same character like me), but I just can’t deny the fact that he had some success in the past and that it is possible he could be successful again with the Laura buffs.
He definitely isn’t but he lived in the US and was considered a US player back then.
Even without counting him, Ricki and Wong really did dominate everything that year when Infiltration didn’t show up and Snake Eyez got 5th at the 25th anniversary tournament. He wasn’t the best in the only year where he got results.
Really, once you run into him you learn that he really isn’t that good.
Also that second point is meaningless, MikeandIke doesn’t go to a ton of tournaments either, I’m talking gameplay, he’s more interesting than Wolfkrone.

Krone was in the conversation for best US player. Top 8 at Evo, and he ran a string of tournies back around 2011-2012. I mean he dominated Justin for a while in a way you didn’t see Justin get bodied. After the pot split shit, when you knew he wanted to win. Shit like eat three overheads in a row because I’m in your head. I can remember one Canada Cup where he ran thru like almost every Japanese player there. He was legit. But Viper got nerfed in one of those versions, Yun came, and he stopped playing as often. Latif ended up better but the debate was close at one point.
The local shit has a long story, but it started fucked up for him when he won everything for like a year and the other top player he kept beating, the dudes friends were pretty relentless in how they heckled Krone in all his matches. They basically bullied him until he stopped showing up. Krone isn’t the only top player to basically quit playing locally because of it, but that’s another story. It was a downhill relationship from there. Dunno what happened recently, but it wasn’t his fault at first.
I’ll tell you guys he has legit fundamental ability. Say what you want about his personality, but he can play. He knows how to not be random. He also knows to abuse whatever to get the W. If you have trouble blocking burn kicks or laura overheads you’re about to see 50 of them.
To be completely honest I think the dude has some real social problems. Like some people try to be dicks. Some people are just socially non functional. Dunno if its home schooling, or asperger’s, but something is there. He isn’t close to the only dude I’ve met in the fgc like that. But he’s the only one I know that’s had his shit be so public.
