I give up for today man, hopefully by the time I get home from work tomorrow this shit will be sorted. Honestly though I’m not even super disappointed; kinda expected something like this to happen. Also the tiny bits of the game I have gotten to play seem hella solid. That stun meter really changes the approach to pressure.
In Normal Survival Mode? I just beat it and 27 (Gief), 28 (Nash), 29 (Necalli), 30 (Bison) are kind of rough. For Gief I just played really really lame with Nash.
They programmed the AI to read our inputs? That is the only way fighting games devs can make a challenging AI nowadays it seems. It’s rather lazy if you ask me.
We need a survivor scoreboard thread… Give me something to shoot for tonight. Got half a mil in normal mode, can’t remember my hard mode score I’ll check when I get home.
It reminds me of trying to beat my buddies track time on Nurburgring, can be pretty fun
Yeah, I always thought it would be quite simple to make AI decent. Optimise CPU combos for high and low, AA everything, use mid Ranged pokes and basic frame traps.
It would turn a mundane CPU experience into a great learning tool for everyone. Even higher level players.
It would be like training dummy mark 5. Just program it to make the optimal decision given the spacing.
Why not figure it out himself? People always expect you to tell them who the hell to pick in fighting games. Whatever happened to looking over the cast and hitting training mode to see who you vibed with?
Anyway, if they’re all easy, he knows he can pick whoever he feels like because there won’t be an execution barrier. I basically told him that he doesn’t have to worry about that… They made the game that way. You don’t have to be given names when shit is as blatantly clear as that.
Idk why you’re riding me over my answer when you yourself didn’t give one lol. Everyone else named a few different characters. That was going to keep going until every character was suggested simply because my answer was the correct one.
