I am not playing online until next week, servers are always fucked up on release for every AAA game. It’s useless to even try.
On the other hand they really screwed up on the casual market, all of my potentially interested friends or SF casuals are laughing at how bad the content is. They log to my account and they are like “ok can I do the challenges?” > nop. “Can I do regular games VS IA?” > nop. “How can I learn?” > You have to go to training mode. “Fuck this shit”.
Also the story is extremely bad but like EXTREMELY bad. It is so bad, nothing would have been better I think. Drawings are ugly as hell, story is bad, fights are so easy you can do them with your feets. What the fuck?
I am pretty sure it went like this at Capcom :“Guys they are talking about story mode in forums” “Shit we have to make those?” “Looks like it” “Fuck it put that AI who doesn’t block and hits every 20 sec for every char, I’ll call my childs for the story and I call Bengus for the drawings”.

Yeah, there were very small changes between beta4 and v1.1. So you can use the beta4 info if you want even though dantarion has the v1.1 data up. I’m still going through my video recordings and for the most part it matches up with dantarion’s data. There’s still some weird stuff that’s incorrect on his data, like “startup” on moves. I will see if I can get my WIP doc up in the next day or so.
BTW, any R mika players know why her LK wingless airplane(the AA move) does 163 damage sometimes? It normally does 130, but I see some of my recordings show 163 and I can’t figure out why. Maybe a bug?

LOL! that might be it. Wingless airplane is usually the first throw I do after I’ve done her vskill in my recordings as I go down the line testing things.

Cool, can more people test this? it’s kind of a big deal. If you can’t play the game with no internet access at all then taking a laptop somewhere isn’t viable. Again, not failing to login. Disable your internet access entirely and go offline then start the game up.
It seems to be a PC specific issue.
Counted 12 friends on PS4 who played SFV for the first time today. A few of them aren’t even fighting games fans. The hype is real!!!
It’s a shame they couldn’t play each other, or anyone else for that matter.
I really like this game, it’s hella fun when it’s working, but having effectively a complete outage on your launch day is really going to put a damper on it. It won’t kill the game, but it will certainly take awhile to recover in the eyes of newer players.
