I got it to run when I disconnected from network. However I had something odd happen I need someone to test to verify for me:
I unplugged internet entirely for a sec to check this. Not an issue of game connects to server but then can’t log in. Turn off internet entirely.
Turn on SFV. Tells me can’t access network. Then it tells me I need to log in to access online stuff. Then it makes me accept EULA for some reason. I hit accept annnnd it just sits there on the splash screen with the SFV logo animating over and over.
Can anyone else confirm that with zero internet access the game just doesn’t load on PC?
ive heard a theory that this may just be because they dont have the market up yet so you’re “borrowing” the costumes for the time being until you can download them.
i can understand requiring online for earning FM, but requiring online for purchased DLC would be pointless and end badly for everyone involved.

Wow. This is not going to sit well with casuals, who by the way make up the vast majority of any AAA games sales, fighter or otherwise. This could lead to a sales disaster.
If they needed the game out for Capcom tournaments, then all pre-order customers should have recieved a digital version of what was released to retail today, which should be called a late-Beta.
Releasing a bare-bones game like this for 60$ is going to lead to a ton of negative hype, pissed off casual customers which again is 90% of your sales base, and bad reviews. Absolutely disastrous move by Combofiend/Ono and Capcom…
