The Street Fighter 3poxy Strike: Everybody at home but SF5 doesn't have Netcode

Thanks guys for your input. I don’t think I’m going to give MK11 much of a try anymore. I like the IP but I’ve really come to prefer how more traditional 2D games play, so i’ll Just stick with them. Wasn’t looking to drop ST or 3S anyway, so it’ll be better to be able to focus on them more.

Sorry man!

I feel the same way about everything you said. I may just grab one of the Qanba Drones again. It was good enough and didn’t break the bank.

I do think it wasn’t improved once I put a Sanwa JLF in there but that can always wait

I had an EVO drone that I gutted and put in a little wooden box. It’s a little too small for comfort, but it works. Maybe I should give it more of a go

Was the wooden box smaller or bigger than the drone?

Do you still have the drone case, or is that now your Hitbox?

QCF x 2 is so clean on hitbox. How are you guys having trouble with it.

wait what?

Who’s having trouble with this? I’m pretty sure I can do those on a keyboard.

I’m having a bit of issue with 2x QCBs but usually iron it out everyday with a few minutes of labbing… Though I definitely drop some in the heat of a match, especially Ken’s short, short xx SA3 because the timing has to be so quick and precise.

I don’t really have much issues with QCFs though. It’s my ring finger that gives me the issues.

Also, that’s not really my reason for looking at a stick. I mean, I guess it’s part of it, but I also know I had issues with 2x QCBs on stick too.

I’d just like a stick because I prefer how it feels, especially in SF games. Also, once things go back to normal, I would like to start going to my local more for ST and 3S, and ST was pretty much mandatory on stick.

I as doing 123 Genei Jin on my hitbox yesterday.

I don’t know what’s going on with you guys’ execution on the thing that its so bothersome. Seriously, if you can touch type you can use a hitbox.

Man, if Daigo reacted like that to this meaty, imagine how he’d react to MobbDeep’s mixups.

Android 18
Videl
Chichi (Super Dragon Ball Z)

More arcade fighting game characters:
Poppy (playable via code in Samurai Shodown V)
Oshima Goketsuji (Power Instinct)

If you want to count console-only fighting games:
Mary Ivonskaya (Tobal)

Did you mean plan, or was “pain” very much intention, because both work.

I really shouldn’t play tonight but don’t want to pass this up, so i’ll try my best, it would be around 9 est or so. If I can play it won’t be for too long (until 10 or so), but I’ll let you know. Feel free to play with anyone else if they pipe-up first

And until then, you’ll be stuck bodying me in 30th.

Man, I’m kinda lost on how I should actually learn how to play FGs again.

You know that feeling when you got so much stuff to do that you don’t really know where to begin and then you just go take a nap instead because thinking is too much work?

The only reasons I didn’t take said nap are that I had to deal with some work stuff.

I am happy panda that i have my 2 mains on SS, Mina and Iroha.
Been playing some matches with Iroha and i feel they made her justice, she feels really good on this game, like i can play passive agressive like in the old game.

Interesting. Perhaps you will fight me then!

Why are you still paying to use the internet and games you paid for? Just make the total switch to PC.

I’m kinda in a situation like this at work. I have so much to do and it’s all important and I can’t seem to pick what to work on. I don’t take a nap, but it’s hard to concentrate on something, or even get started.

Regarding 3S, what i’d suggest is learn the ranges of your good normals (watch a YouTube guide for that character if you need help. ReNic made a bunch). Also learn the range of your dashes. Learn all your specials and super so you know their ranges, strengths, and weaknesses. Then learn a couple BNBs or key cancels (such as ken’s Cr.MK xx SA3).

After that, just hop into matches and try to figure out what your problems are. You keep sweeping on close blocking opponent? Mashing on wakeup? Getting hopped on where you throw fireballs? Etc.
