And small tip for those playing TLOU 2. Play it at night with lights all off and use a headset if you don’t have a good sound system at home. I play all horror games and watch all horror movies with lights off at night.
People say I’m nuts but if I want a good scare, I’ll go all out lol.

Scary games are tough to pull off imo.
Does anyone actually get scared or mildly disturbed by the visual design of the monsters ? I don’t.
If the game over used jump scares again it’s a no go because it gets old really fast.
I think very few actually manage to build tension properly and keep you “scared”.Though overrated I think Amnesia the Dark Descent did a good job,I enjoyed the game.
Another good one is Call of Cthulhu the dark corners of the earth.The hotel chase scene was pretty intense for such an old game.
Fatal Frame 1 is the goat horror game. I threw the disc away after completing it because I didn’t want that evil thing in my house anymore. It was that scary.

Fatal Frame 2 Crimson Butterfly was good too but stlll not as scary as part 1. I loved Crimson Butterfly’s story. Enjoyed part 3 too. The Wii version was very good too.
There’s a lot of these already and there is only more coming lol

The thing is if after this, will their next project performe good, or will be a stain that marks the lost all the good will that they had from previous games made by the old guard that is no longer there.
It is usually the next entry/work the one that pays for the sins of the father.

I got the feeling they added the ending of the supposed 3rd game in this one. Story was neatly wrapped with Ellie deciding to leave Dina and go all in on the revenge plot after catching Abby hands, but apparently there’s more and she realized “revenge is bad mmmkay” after a second try?
TLOU looks done. Straight up.

The throne room with all the red colors was cool. Half of the times that the movie tried to subvert expectations it turned out to be something stupid, but the other half of the times it was something cool, and Leia can fly in space without protection like not even Warhammer 40k characters can do for some reason.
So, overall, I enjoyed it and I appreciated that the director decided to take risks, even if it didn’t always work. The Sequel Trilogy is a fucking shitshow though, and TLJ is only a part of the problem.
