I’m about to make the mistake of taking my Baiken online. Wish me luck.
Try Kara Demon next! Let’s see them fingers wriggle and roll!
I think he can only cancel into DP while in Trigger (either one, I think)
It won the round too with Pertho having a decent life lead. I can see why he’s pissed, but it was hype
Yep, just saw that, and thanks! A real meeting of the minds happening here…
I’m fine with pertho never letting me have fun again. That demon made me very happy
Hey I don’t play this shitty game. Can someone help me put on anything but training room music for the lab in SFV? How!?
Fuck it was a mirror match ;_;
How did it go?
Fuck, I can’t seem to contest Pertho’s Makoto anymore. I was doing pretty good at avoiding crouch-blocking. I also adapted early on to jumping less and stop waking back (to block) into the corner. I did the latter by pushing forward as much as I could and dashing under jumps. Now i’m just crouch-blocking and getting chocked and thrown like… well, like something incredibly stupid.
I’m getting washed
Mashing out supers gets you nowhere.
Easy fix. OS low parry on incoming offence. Then guard jump. That’s how you don’t get fucked. Then deal with the mix as you land, but remember that it won’t be as bad as on a dash in. You can parry attacks coming down and then body him. Also, depending on your character, you may not want to push buttons against Karakusa. Alex and Ken get fucked by it on certain buttons, for example.
I think there’s an option (possibly in the sound options off the main menu) but I think it only allows you to pick to play P2’s theme (as opposed to the stage) or one of 3 (?) different stage themes.
Also, there is a music jukebox thing with classic songs, but I think (?) you have to buy them. I never looked into it
Bitch can dash full screen?! Lol, okay. Now I know (not that it will help)
Mix, bitch, mix!
Sorry, what does OS low parry mean? I understand it’s an option select and low parry would be first, but what’s the other (delayed) option?
Neutral jump on wake up to get out of that command grab loop. That might work
Say you want to attack mid or high. We know those are slower than lows (usually). Or perhaps we are afraid our opponent may hit low during our move’s startup. Well, low parry covers any attack that the opponent may throw out for up to around 10fr.
Example:
You try to meaty a Ken with a st.MP. What if he wakes up with LDP? Tapping down then returning to neutral before the Ken hits the DP covers getting hit (because you parry), but you also put out your attack just in case he doesn’t wake up with a DP. (This isn’t a good situation, but this is what immediately came to mind). Things like this happen throughout sets, so knowing you can do this helps a lot.
Guard jumping is simply blocking for the first 6fr after waking up (because you are throw invulnerable for the first 6fr), then jumping away to escape grabs. This can be beaten out with a delayed attack.
