I tried that once. If I recall right, I think he just dashed under me and messed me up as I landed. Though maybe I need to parry on the way down. I’ll give it another shot. Thanks. I need to find a way out of this. Once he gets me in one, I’m done for the round unless he drops it.
Only got a couple left in me.
This is more a note to self: I need to check the frame data on that punch. It must have different advantages depending on strength or range. I need a consistent punish (SA3?)
Finally pulled a W after like 10 straight L’s
Could still happen. These games are easy enough to implement net code. Hell, they could even give it GGPO
It’s the dubs that really count.
Dude beat me again then I had to get off the station lol
Wtf another mirror
Nevermind, it’s the dinner after the Ls that truly matter.
Run into one randomly mashed cr.short, super comes out and combos for the win.
I remember Daigo made a video complaining about this on FGC Translated.
GGs @Pertho. I know I mashed a lot more in that set. Those dashes really fucked me up lol
I was always kinda expecting them so I was just throwing out shit constantly. I need to lab those for sure.
GGs @KingTubb those were fun matches as well, we should play more often!
It was somebody else. But that’s also one of the reasons 3S is kind of cool but kind of ass. At high level there’s a lot of goofy system stuff like that.
The problem with it as advice is that it’ll give people more of a crutch than building up fundamentals and then adding on to them.
GGs and all that.
Gotta wake up at 6 to do groceries. Bleh.
Wasn’t Daigo who made it, but they were his words. Apparently he doesn’t like guard jumping. I’m surprised they singled that out because guard jumping is incredibly fair, and there’s much more INSANE stuff that happens on wake-up. I realise they mentioned that they didn’t cover everything, but wake-ups make 3rd Strike what it is beyond the parry system, at least in my opinion. But yes, my god is that strong, but fair.
Good memories on you cunts.
It was Onuki talking about Daigo.
There’s also some stuff involving super jumps you can do to avoid throws. There was an SRKer who talked about it. Don’t remember quite what it was.
I do NOT have a good memory!
